Default Do You use Maphack in Starcraft?

Well, there were a million of them for Diablo, so there might as well be a mh poll for sc.

Me, Sometimes depending on who im playing against and what map it is.

Why use mh? You just ruin the game.

In D2 the maps are random, so you need a MH to know where to go, plus you only see monsters/etc in close vicinity. A MH in SC is just purely for cheating, you should already know the map layout...

I gotta agree with Dyna, if its a real game then its just cheap, but if ur just messing around with freinds or something i got nothing against it.

i agree. most of the time, you already know every inch of the map before you play. secret money spots in golems, defense games, etc

i agree with [/sarcasm]. cmon if any of you have ever played the game more than once you know it doesn't cost that much to scout, and it doesn't even interfere with build time. a seasoned vet can have the entire map scouted and a small rushing army built within the first 5 minutes of the game.

I think that this is the reason for why Blizzard originally started hunting down MHers on Bnet, because people were using MHs for Starcraft... After that they also adopted the same policy for Diablo II...
At least this is what I remember it being like pre-1.09.

starcraft itself is fun enough to play without hacking. the games been out so long that if ur not the uber-SCer by now, you need to give it up. and there really aren't that many people that hack SC anymore just cus its a waste of time and hd space.

i don't mh, but some of you guys have wierd ways of using one...
in starcraft the maps are alot smaller then in d2. even without mh on starcraft it dont take long to find someone..
    there's a random quote i picked out
people don't use mh's to find out if they're goin' to run into ppl, they use mh's to see what others are building, to see if they can counter it or whatnot
but if you guys are talking about UMS games, then disregard everything above except the part where i said, "i don't mh" :)

Mh makes me sick yr a noob if u use it for sc it just ruins the game , the poll should just have 2 answers no or yes iam a noob

Beside even if u don't know the map that not the point but say for instance someone is going to dt rush u and u forgot to defend against it technically u should lose but mh stop that and give u the oppurtunity to counter a specfic technique
