so yea i am done iwth playing d2 (to much work and too much of same ole' same ole') so ive decided to plai WoW at the expanse of losing some cash, but i've heard its all worth it. so i wanna plai WoW but have no idea how to start.
for example

what is the best character out there?
horde or alliance?
which race?
is it ok on a 1gb DRAM with 32mg vid card (lol)?
tel me some of the BEST parts about WoW that pwns D2 and guild wars

With a 32m card your going to be considering suicide after about 2 days of playing. As for the rest it's all up to your own sensibilities, but for some strange reason I'm almost positive your going to be Alliance.

there is no BEST its just prefrence, but if your talking pvp it depends VS what. Which i mean like a rogue will kill a mage but a warrior can easily kill that same rogue do you know what i mean?

o iic so its like d2 kinda? (ex. sorc can kill barb easily and barb kills a pally easily but a pally easily kills a sorc [again its an ex.])...well waht i wanna get across is what is the most popular most preferred class, race, skill(alchemist etc etc).....horde or alliance in terms of better weps items quests etc.....and whud u recommmend me to be a PvP, this is my first time playing so iuno. I am just getting ideas from waht i did in d2

well i definatly recomend pvp because i belive pvp is part of any good game and from what i hear lvl 1-59 horde has advantage but once at level 60 alliance does cuz all end game instances are on their continent, i dont know forsure but thats what i always see the 60's talking about in orgrimar

i play WoW with a 32mb card! works fine. My specs are hell of a lot lower than what he uses.

256mb sdram
667mhz~ p3 proccessor
32mb graphix~ rage128/128pro

Well anyways..

I like the horde over the aliance. I would go maybe a human paladin or night elf hunter maybe. That is if you are playing the alliance that is.

If you play Horde. I would pick maybe an orc warrior(even though it is a basic class..)

Maybe go a undead warlock? i dunno. i dont play warlock much or the undead.

preists are the most WANTED for any mission because they can heal but people dont make them that much thats why theyre so wanted and usualy favorite in a group,but about gear i dno shit about gear yet like i dno any names or anything yet i only started a lil while ago

icic thansk for ur advice tho....well u no how u said its all preference, what is the fav char (synonymous to a pally in d2...it is fav char in pvp) for pvp in pvp WoW. do u no any reasons why they are the favorite...maybe in terms of godly gear, excellent attack dmg, etc etc

Night Elf rogues are nice to have, they get extra dodge chance, i think its in the 20s at level 1, it's crazy. I personally prefer Horde, there's too many little kids playing Alliance, so unless you like watching nonsense float across your screen all day....... Also, there's the population issue. The Alliance / Horde ratio is usually 3/1 if not more. On my server it was around 7 / 1. I tell ya, you get damn good at PvP always getting zerged, I NEVER lost when it was 1v1 2v1 and sometimes 3 or 4 against me even. Kill the highest level one first, they'll scatter ;-)

this is why i like the horde a lot better than alliance. less ppl on the horde side, seems more of a chalenge. I don't like the ppl that play alliance anyways.

Most of the ppl dont like the horde because they think they are the 'bad guys'... or some shit like taht.

The top classes on my server are Shaman, Rogue, and Shadow Preist. If you're going to make a rogue, use a troll or undead. For the Shaman, the popular choices seem to be the Tauren and Troll. I don't really know much about the shadow priest. Each race has specific special abilities. You can look at them at the link below, this should help you make your decision.
