Best place to rune farm

I used to farm the countess but she is droping El and Eld on hell. Is there any other way to farm Runes other than rushing for forges?

You can get good runes anywhere in hell... just find a place with a lot of monsters. I think act 3 and 4 have plenty of monsters. My advice is to rune find in a game with as many players as possible. I got two ists from duriel in one game with 8 players.

Best places to farm runes is Cow level(open all chests and rocks) and trav on hell(from what i heard)

In cow lvl, there's a chance to find a zod of 1:2.000.000 I think. And I found 2 carrions at andy. That's a chance of 1:1.700.000. lol.

well runes can be found at any monsters in hell...it`s just a matter of luck but hell trav and cow have better chance

Even if cows` chance of dropping godly runes is low there r ALOT of cows from where u can find runes

cows are probably the best there are about a 500 cows and u have like one tenth of a percent to get anythink above vex

i have never found a rune from anything other than the forge but i think the best place to get them are the monster between act 4-5

hell forge as long as u dont repair hammer.
this is true story:
1st hellforge (no repair) i got ohm
2nd hellforge (repar) i got hel
3rd hellforge (repair) i got lum (yes hellforge drops lum sadly)
4th hellforge (no repair) i got ber
...
this has continued and im seeing a pattern. maybe its just me but ... when i dont repair my "hrs" are much better

best i got from countess is ist and that highest 4 countess 4 me; also, ive gotten ohm rune in cow rune a while back so the best is cow prob because countess takes too long to tele

highest Hellforge can drop is Gul rune, Hellforge cannot drop anything higher, so what are you talking about?

Anywhere in Hell but some places taht are probably "better" imo would be Trav, Cow, Shenk/Eldrich, Diablo.

I play on ladder and i found an um rune on a baal run from his minions in Nightmare i was

The number of cows in the cow level is dependant on how many scrolls You had in the tome when opening. So, 20 scrolls -> Shitloads of cows.
