hey. same thing happens in america, man. the same damn thing. it will always happen anywhere that a person of a different race goes to another country where they do not look like the dominating race. the only reason that it does not happen as often in america is because we tend to think of our country as a melting *** with many races. anytime you live in a place where there is a large percentage of people that are the same race and a foreign person appears, there will always be talk about them in a language that the native think the foreigner understands

culture. it's what makes people different and differences are what create gossip. pretty harmless

I can see the problem with language here in America, just look at the school systems. Number one, when i was in school Spanish was an elective class, now in most school systems it has become a mandatory class. This country was founded on the English Language, not the Spanish language, so why are we diverting the teachings of English to the fixation of the Spanish language, makes no since to me! If you want to be a productive citizen of the United States Of America learn some freaking English, dont make the Natives learn your language! enough said.

well basically a large percent of them are everywhere, no offense cause i think u said u were something, but if you search carefully theres a lot of government controll there cause theres like 100k ppl trying to come here each year. Besides that with the guy on top no1 can really know who got here first and like the first "official languages was english. Each of those tribe thingies speak something different so you cant count them. so yeah ppl should learn english fast

i think that somewhere along the way, people have associated "the greatest country on earth" with the"greatest language on earth"
it's really hard for me to argue this point because i really have no idea why people are angry at people who speak a different language. english is a different language from chinese. it's a different language from french. there are people who refuse to learn and i support your arguement that they should try to learn but we cant force them. you cant teach an old dog new tricks and the same goes for people. most of them are set in their ways and reasonably comfortable with their lifestyle so they dont see a reason to learn english. the most they hear is probably television and personally, i wouldnt go learn a whole new language just to understand some spanish soap operas. give them a break. not to be insensitive but in a few decades they'll all be dead anyway and all of you people who only speak english will be out of a job because the world is changing and multilingual people are gaining an advantage with such trends as outsourcing and multinational corporations

My problem isn't so much the language or us being forced to learn a new language. My problem is people coming here and expecting us to accomidate them because they don't speak our language. Why should there be a Spanish option on a hotline that only accepts US callers? You wanna survive in our country? Then learn our language. If you're just visiting I can understand...why learn a whole new language if you're only going to use it for a week? Regardless I'm trying to learn a little Italian before I go to Italy.

Get one of those Spanish dictionaries that explains what words in English mean so you can atleast try to keep up.

Minorities Will always be more racist than the majority its just human nature. I also think colored folks make it worse for themselves. Lets try and fit in and be equals and piss all over the dialect of the english language and while were at lets act a fool. Lets sell drugs and clain it was the white man who made you do it(well god is white so techinically yes). I have no problem with mexicans as long as you realize that you arent in mexico. Also if your a wigger you deserve to die,

i think the only reason minorities are more racist is because they are being defensive by going on the offense. it's like being scared of being beat up, so you get buffer and tougher so you dont get punked on as easily.
on your drug point, not all minorities sell drugs. the stupid ones do but we have those in every race, just in a different form. in white people, it's in the form of a racist
about god being white. the area which adam and eve originated is believed to be somewhere in africa and since the bible states that man and women were made in god's image, shouldn't god be black? or does that clash with your mentality of white superiority?

They may have started on the grounds of defense but what do they have to defend against anymore? Minorities have more rights than whites do these days...you risk a lawsuit for even looking at a black person in an odd way at work.

I agree completely with what SpoonMan said. I'm quite sick of 'reverse discrimination'. I loved how the black kid in my class in highschool got to go to college free because he's black and his mom is single, while my mom and dad have to work their tails off to keep things goin in college. It's just not right. 'Okay, we made mistakes earlier and enslaved you, our bad. Here, have all these rights and freedoms.' I dont remember who said it on here but a black guy beats up a white guy and it's assult. A white guy beats up a black guy and it's a hate crime. Bull. One last thing: This is America, not Mexico. Speak ENGLISH. (And I'm from New York, not down south where it would be a little more acceptable and I still hear it all the time)

I must've missed this before because I'm not keen to reading your moronic rants, but what the hell are you thinking? I won't even get into the debate about god existing (which I don't believe he does), but what makes you think he's white? Have you seen him? Didn't think so.

Really, the problem with all the racism that does go around in whites (although it's less than minorities by far) is the people like you that think that white is the supreme race. I bet you think Jesus was white, too.
