I like the way Ron White worded it when talking about the death penalty in Texas, "If you kill someone, we will kill you back. It's our policy." If they take life so willingly and without remorse then why should they be allowed to live themselves? Obviously life is not something valued by the person so why should we spend tax dollars making sure it's sustained in prison?

And Slimp, to say the views that Blood and I are expressing are the majority is ignorant. How many people went and saw Farenheit 9/11 and ate that piece of shit up? Now how many went and researched the things Moore talked about and got the whole story? If you're going to rely on documentaries and conspiracy theories to support your views then atleast take a look at the opposition, watch things like Farenhype 9/11 to atleast attempt to balance your view.

Well, actually SkyMonster, in my opinion I think that poll isn't completely accurate. That is because when I first started this thread, I straight up voted for "I hate Bush!", because that was my point of view at that point. But after, debating and hearing other people's opinions, I think my views have changed to "50/50". The thing is that when people enter polls, the first thing they do is vote, and THEN read the thread. So after they read, they might change their minds. I'm not saying people love Bush, I'm just saying that people changed their minds probably.

mmm some good has come of the headache that is this thread...i'm glad you saw the light godandrock...hopefully a few others will too...or at least open their eyes instead of doing what they think the "cool" thing is

lol i have been saying that same thing from the beginning. most ppl have an oppinion of bush from family/friends (mostly hate bush) about bush w/o any real facts. the fact is any1 in the presidential seat is not judged fairly. every1 judges the president to the extremities. no1 (well not many anyways) really takes the time or energy to study the situation from the presidants position or understands why he did what he did. and of course every1 seems to forget he is human and that he too will make mistakes. he is under enormus preasure for every single desicion he makes. besides can you really have done better? most of you will say 'why of course i could' when in fact many of you couldnt and you know it. besides the majority here couldnt even make half of the desicions just because you are to young to understand it. also you must remember 80% of the time the president is told what to do. he is in charge but he has many advisors that tell him what he sould do so in fact the blame is never full his.

Not to mention Congress and the courts have the power to turn around some of his decisions so if there's such a big issue with legality and the intelligence of his choices then I doubt that both would just let him get away with it.

aka checks and balances...which i try to bring up every time this stupid debate pops up...and none of the bush haters ever seem to understand it...either that or they just dont have an answer so they ignore it...

it was late last night so i forgot to even bring that up so thx. what i dont fully understand is y ppl throw out ****on. i mean when he was president every1 thrived. so what if he had 'sexual relations' with his secretary. if a 50year old dude is still getting play i so go him not shame him.
