Sending police to the rallies and rounding up the illegal immigrants is a terrible idea. How many jobs would be left unoccupied from that? Don't get me wrong, this has become a problem and something has to be done about it. We can't just stand by and let a continuous wave of people pour into our country, but it's been happening. I think the 5-year thing works out pretty well. The people here illegally aren't taking any high-level jobs, they're doing the things nobody else wants to do. I'm not worried what-so-ever about someone here illegally taking the jobs I'd like to have after college. So unless you are one of those high school drop-outs getting stuck with the low-level jobs(which is your choice anyway), theres not much to worry about. The immigrants taking the high-level jobs are here perfectly legally, even if they still don't speak fluent english.

I looked at your location and saw IL and I guess that explains your position. I can't drive to get gas without seeing at least five or six illegals. The jobs they take are low paying and undesirable but how many homeless do we have and how many living on wellfare are out there that could be picked up to replace the illegals? Americans don't not go to these jobs because they wont do that work they avoid them because they can get a government check for doing nothing through wellfare.

I understand how your position would be diffrent than mine and i get what you mean. There are illegals here to just not in the masses like in California. The job i had over spring break, flower whole sale place, was primarily mexicans. And a few weeks before I got there apparently one of the mexicans "dissapeard". So, something is being done when/if there caught...but it obviously is not enough.

This whole "immigration equal rights" thing is stupid; it's our country, we'll make the rules as we see fit. And when immigrants come to America to make money by opening a resturant, and then close it due to the fact that the country is overfilling and we are trying to cutback on the amount of immigrants that come in, it is very redundant.

Ahh, but tell me, what happens when that hard working immigrant is noticed by someone higher up on the social ladder and he ends up replacing you? Would you not be bitter if the high standing job that you have had for any number of years is all of the sudden pulled out from under you? CEO's and CFO's could one day be replaced by "hardworking" immigrants because the leaders of todays top companies can pay them much less than the standard American. I understand that Mexico is a hard country to live in, I have been there; if you do not work or steal or have any way to make money, you die, and no one gives you a second glance. That is not, however, our problem, the U.S. has many problems of its own currently and the overwhelming amount of immigrants are just adding to the social stress.

They aren't, but the major problem with illegals is with Mexicans as they share a border and the only other shared border is with Canada and most of them would rather not live here.

Did I say Mexican? No, I specificly said "immigrant". The Mexicans are a problem, but so are those that come over in rafts and there is not much we can do but either turn them away or let them in, and it ussualy results in the latter.

No, I would be upset, and would work harder to get back where I was. I would be even more upset, however, if it happened to be an illegal immigrant, or a legal one with no experiance and they get where they are due to all of the "equal" rights laws that are being passed which just limit what a, "white" american, as you put it, can do and give everyone else many exasperated benifits.

I in fact didnt come from a middle upper class family. I've paid my own way throughout everything. Youre a ****ing fool for not finishing high school. If you were brought up to not understand that a ****ing high school diploma isn't a required thing, im sorry for you. Think about it, it just makes more sense. You live with your parents until you're 18, you work a part time job. Boo hoo, you have to go to school and then work 3 hours. Oh my god, I'm so sorry for you. Can't afford beer money... piss off man. I graduated high school. I live on my own. I work a full time job in a warehouse for shit money, 8-5 monday through friday so that i can go to night school monday-thrusday till 11. when I finish college, I'm going to be much better off. High school isnt a ****ing option man. its something you HAVE to do. and i dont understand how you could have been brought up to think flipping burgers was a good way to set up for retirement. maybe its different in kansas.... i live in michigan, where the economy is so shitty from the big 3 slowly pulling out that nobody is sure whats going on anymore.
