Can a Barb Uber Alone??

barb cannot ubber alone!!! the only player who can is a SMITER and u need decent items if u want to do it quick............barbs are good to use to assist a smiter but they can not do alone

False, a barb can ubber alone, it just takes a long assed time. I've done it.
You need dracules for the life tap and you can stay alive forever. Crushing blow will help alot so use gore riders unless you have p eth treks. The +strenth lets you have more life so only use treks if you can get perfect eth ones.

Your barb however.... no, you need a sheild, dont use a CB use a zerker. You better have atleast 5k life before you do it. Use angelics (2 rings and the amulet) for attack rating, cham a perfect non-eth arreats, I'd sugjest fortitude for armor but enigma will work I guess. As for a shield, stormshield of course. I always used a p dungos for a belt. Use 320s if you can get them otherwise WC gcs that have life mods and 20 to life charms.
Be sure that you have enough dex so your block is perfect (75%), and just put enough strenth to use your items. Rest is all vitality.

Note: At everywhere else besides ubbers, you will wana use steel rends rather than draculs. You don't really need the xtra leech when your health is around 5-6k.

At level 99 you'll need 222 dex with all items equiped to have perfect block, that is at level 99 though, lower levels need less dexterity.

Thank you Chuck Norris! Everytime i tell someone that barbs can solo uber they give me so much bull****. I had a barb that could solo ubers if i build him better, he only had 3k life and way to much dex then he needed, he also had a crapy ammy and x2 5%LL bks. I am currently building a barb just for ubers and i can't wait untill i pwn trist in under 3mins.(With my old barb i killed all other then meph in around 4, just cuz i kept on haveing to go to town) Yes, barbs can solo uber trist. The build im planning has not been tryed yet to my knowledge, so after i see what happens ill post accordingly. Since Chucks has already proven to work, go with his.

Me and Silver Ice will tell anyone who says that otherwise, back in the day we built very strong barbarians that could kill pretty much anything.

Hell, I made my barb on single player 100% legit and I was able to kill modded bosses. (like blackwulfs etc..)

Also, people might tell you to use different items all I can say is don't.
If you change somthing your gunna sacrafice somthing else. Like switch an angelic with some other ring, you lose alot of attack rating. On single player at level 99 with this build I had 25k or so attack rating.

Really for this build to be at its best you need 320s though, they have gotten more scarce sence I used this build.

As for skills go, just 20 weapon mastery (Choose AXE!!! zerkers are better)
20 ww
20 shout
20 battle orders
1 battle command
1 besurk (needed for immunes)
1 battle cry and war cry (optional, but they come in handy somtimes)
1 increased speed
1 increased stamina
Rest goes into natural resists and Iron skin, no more than 10 with equip on into Natural resists (after level 10 or so its just not practical)

I also heard that Frenzy barbs and pwn ubers too. I don't knwo for sure but i saw it somewhere around here

I never liked Frenzy barbs, it probably would work though, when I'm fighting the ubbers I usually use conc so losing ww would'nt matter much. But, losing your shield might be a big problem. With a shield and perf chance to black I'll get hit 75% less than a Barb without a shield. Old saying: Barb without shield= dead barb

I think frenzy barbs could solo ubers way easier than ww barbs because they don't loose that much time when attacking. I mean, a frenzy barb justs stands in front of meph and hits him with life tap casted on meph and ww barbs have to ww like one inch beside meph and back to hit him, you know? ^^

You usually wont use ww when fighting them, conc works better because it casts life tap on them.

Useing ww on meph in uber trist is like taking on jet li with one finger. you'll never do it, i know from experience. Con,and berserk are the most effective. Plus like Chuck said, Barb without shield= dead barb. You can not use frenzy with out 2 weps. And your going to want the top chance of blocking(or any cob for that matter) with all the skeles around. It could work but i just dont see a barb without a shield surviving a solo run. I'm not saying its not possible because ive never tryed it. But if anyone dose try it do tell how it goes.

Also, don't put anymore than 1 into conc and besurk guys, I know you might be tempted too because your building this for ubbers but if you build this barb it will have enough other uses that the little bitty extra damage you get from putting points into them will just be wasted. Back when I had this barb it was my all-around char for rushing, ubbers, dclone, goofing around, etc...
You should keep an enigma in the stash because telliport comes in handy when looking for keys.

Chuck Norris, i must say that you are wrong. Ubertrist is easy with the equipment he suggested, you just have to be a frenzy barb with a Pride+Might merc, your damage and speed are so insane that they put smiters in shame.

I sayd that the he has is fine for trist although he would need a forti. I suggested frenzy, ww is useless in trist.

*Yawn* trist can be easily beaten by pure damage nn cb.

Deathz are the most usless weapons in game only used by people who can't afford better.

If you really want to use botd use botd + beast but nothing beats grief+beast.

The only time your merc should die is when the monsters he is surrounded by are not leechable.

Thats true, I didint list equip for a merc because no matter how strong they are they just die easily anyway. I never put anything better then a andys visage, levi, and eth toll on mine. (Might merc of course)
