ive installed the hero editor v.096 and now i dont know what to do?? all i see is a file cabnet icon asetup icon and a ? icon plz help

You can only use hero editor on single player and open bnet, And you must create a character then use hero editor

and im using it for the itekm editor i just dont know how to start the program 1 item i need some other program for it but im not sure what it is

Right click on the item...i think its the very top click it

umm ok howdo i edit the item

right click the item then click first option

RightClick the item. Click "General Edit of Item (in Extras Window)"

You will see these tabs..
+basic 1
+location -view only
+item code
+basic 2
+quality
+other
+magic
+set1 magic
+set2 magic
+set3 magic
+set4 magic
+set5 magic
+rune magic
--0-7 footer

Click on magic. And on the far right, you will see a list of attributes. If its an empty item it will say 1st empty slot; just click on it and you can see a new list that goes from magic attribute 1 up to magic attribute 30. on the far right again click the arrows and choose what you want from the new categories. click what you want and click save item. dont forget to save your character. I'll put a tutorial up about the editor in the future maybe.
