New Trading Forum Rules *PLEASE READ*

It has come to our attention that people using the Trading forum don't state their realm or game type when they create new threads. Which is why we have decided to impliment the following rule when posting new threads in this forum:

• When posting a new thread, use this template for your thread title. [REALM] [GAME TYPE] "YOUR TITLE". This will make everyone's life a lot easier, and makes finding trading partners a much more simple thing to do. An example of this would be; "[USWest] [L/SC] My Trade List". Use L for ladder and NL for non-ladder and use SC and HC for softcore and hardcore respectively.

• When describing your item(s) please ensure to specify whether it's Identified or Unidentified, and anything that has variable stats, please mention the stats in your post.

• Try to avoid posting your Diablo II account name in an open thread. This is however a judgement call, if you don't mind people messaging you day and night on Diablo (something that personally annoys me) then by all means post it for all to see. If you need to exchange account names, it may be an idea to use the Private Message facility.

Obviously these rules only apply to threads created after this post. For now I will be looking after it, and if you create a thread with the wrong title I will message you for the details and change it. But after the trial period has ended (maybe a week), any posts not adhering to the template will probably be deleted. Anything that doesn't fit into this catagory probably shouldn't be posted in the Trading forum. If you wish to know the value of something, post in the 1.10 Patch forum, and if you want a rush (whether you are offering something for it, or not) post in the Help forum.

I see where you are going with this one Skye, but I don't know...it just seems like these rules are a little unnecessary. Well, what I mean is, don't punish people too badly for breaking these.

Hi i m new to this forum , but i agree with skye it is getting to hard to know waht people want if they dont post what realm and ladder or non ladder and if sc or hc ... thank u sky for these new rules i think u shuld take away points if they dont do it

Well I don't really have the ability to take away points, all I will be doing is deleting the post if they don't put the realm and game type in the thread title.

I think a point removal plan would be cool. It could go like this:

Someone breaks a rule.
Its up to the mod, supermod, or admin to decide how many points are going to be removed.
Then the points removed are put into a ***.
Then they are randomly distributed out to the mods/supermods/admin.

Sound like fun?

This my friends, is an example of a power hungry despot stealing from the uninformed poor. Band together my bretheren and we shall steal every single one of Nublitorias points. Then use them to change his title to something like "I smell Really bad" or "Trogdor owns me" or "I wear pink dresses".

Well, i just kissed a shitload of *** and got my access back at school.... so i'll be back to my old post-a-ton ways.... hope ppl didn't enjoy the quiet..... it's been a while and things are really shaping up, this new rule being a nice kick in the *** for the forums... all i can say is, way to go n gj

Edit: whats up w/the point system? i missed the forum updates so i'm not all down w/all the new features... is it for the store, buying the enhancements n shit? that's just a guess, but seemed logical..
