video making Program needed

ok well i'm looking for a movie making program. i need to be able to take clips from different video files make it run smooth and also take out the sound and put the sound file of my choice as sound.

I use to have TMPGEnc. -- Mpeg Encoder...But it uses any video type as a source, converts to Mpeg, and you can choose options like Clip out video range, take our audio, etc. I have an old version...2.524. If you can find it on the net somewhere, ill give you the cdkey, because you can crack it easily. Or I can upload it to a site and you can download it, but im pretty sure it's still floating around somewhere....try www.doom9.org they have alot of encoder's there.
