Well, I have been visiting D2Sector for quite a while now, and I recently decided to join as a member.

Anyway, my CD Key was banned quite a while ago due to maphacking. My friend gave me his CD Key that he no longer uses and still, it says I am muted/cannot join channels/etc. Now, his key IS working properly because I saw him play it at his house before giving it to me.

I was wondering, could an IP mute be what I am currently undergoing? Or possibly an account mute? And is there anyway to get Blizzard to unban/mute me?

you have to be still usen your old cdkey that got muted or his is muted too

no your not ip muted..

His probably isn't muted, it's just I tried to change my key with a Key Changer, not 100% sure if it worked or not.

well that could be whats wrong :) if u still have your cds save any screen shots u may have and reinstall d2 to make sure his cdkey works right
