Theoretically you can get banned for any modification that you make to the Diablo II client no matter how small, large, or insignificant it is.
So yes, it's possible.
How likely it is that you would get banned for using gmod is another question that I doubt many people here can answer.
banning would depends on what kind of packets its releasing or if its in a form that warden looks at. warden tends to look for outside programs that run with the game such as secondary dlls, inis and ocxs, certain computer schematics (non-exposing and exposing - they are breaking their own privacy contract lol), and size variants in mpqs in case of hex and/or dos tampering.
make note i got bored and collected, read, and pieced the packets and warden scans together. this was COMPLETELY out of boredom.
i have not heard of anyone getting banned for this mod or nightlight so bnet must not be tryen
The only way you can be banned for using mods such as gmod, nightlight ect. was if you turned you're self in.
Nightlight and gmod are client side mods simply text, tbl, bin, and dc6 files. Wich do not inject nor change the game code. Its 100% safe.
I dont think so but i stay away from any type of mod or hack just to be on the safe side, its better to be safe then sorry.
It is not "100% safe". Maphack is a client side mod only, it doesn't communicate with the server. Look where that is now. If they want to, they can detect and ban pretty much ANY hack. The only thing client data mods have going for them is that they do not alter the code, they alter the data, but such is still easily detectable if they wanted to look for such.
Also abusing skills like farcast and other such things is likely detectable server-side anyway without even requiring Warden.
ask hunter he will tekk you.
whtsa gmod or lightnight..w/e
