i definitely agree with you on that one, i absolutely hate rap. what is the point of music that you are not supposed to know what the heck they are saying?? usually i end up calling any music where i can't understand the lyrics rap for some reason that i do not know of offhand, probably just cause that 's what i give as the stereotype of rap, some hip-hop rappity-zappity bullshiz. my least fav is probably eminem just because the rapping should never be done by a white (no offense there to anything color skin related). in general, yes i do hate rap, boo it.

It isnt music.....thats the main reason i hate it so much....all it is is a bunch of guys sayin stuff super fast and illegibly to a stupid @ss thump in the backround that gets pretty |)amn annoying....

LoL if you guys cant understand rap... clean your ears. It's super easy to understand what they are saying (except this one guy who broke the world record for amount of syllables in one sentance or something like that). Now I'm not saying I like all rap... I'm just saying I like ANY kind of music with a good beat, rythmn, and sort of how the singer sounds.

Well I for one like rap. I didnt like it as a child but i've gotten to love it in the last year or so. And rap is easy to understand maybe people that cant comprehend it are a bit slow

I just like the music itself beat etc more than anything... Nothing better than Heaven R&B Supernights on Saturdays :) (NightClub)

I personally like rap+RnB.

I think rap has a nice tune and often has good singers in the chorus and RnB is just good singin. Whereas Metal and punk is just some stooge *****tards who havent matured, run around on stage in underwear, can only yell into a mic, salute satan (see ozzy osbourne + marylin manson etc..) and have stoopid haircuts.

Althought I do like the guitar specially the peppers + jack johnson.

Well, i hate rap. Okay i guess im too stupid to understand how beautiful the art of screamin 'bout *****es and hoes really fast is. I will say that i like some r+B, and metal some of it is decent, and metal bands tend to have really awesome drummers, which is the only reason i listen to some. I hope you dont consider ozzy metal lol, not REAL metal anyway, he actually has awesome talent as a singer. I tend to go more with bands like tool and stuff, generally anything that takes talent, ill like. IE Rap=no talent= reason why i hate it. any form of techno is my favorite though, and Les Claypool is a demi-god, maynards on top though :)

I can understand rappers, but I don't like rap. Eminem is the only one I'd actually listen too because he's kinda funny.

For anyone who thinks rap is singing, they are wrong. Rap is more like talking in sync with a beat. Also it tends to rhyme, even though I've heard some songs that you really don't understand because they don't rhyme.

@The_BigOne: Where the hell do you get the idea about punk music having to due with saluting Satan? I've got some Goth friends (and non-Goth) friends that listen to it and I've never heard anything about Satan in any of the songs.

Music is all opinion, if you don't like rap, that doesn't mean it sucks, it means you don't like it. I personally love music, and seeing as rap IS music (like it or not it is so don't argue that) so I like rap. I mean, let me give you an example of my latest mix cd: i have mozart, 50 cent, beethoven, brand new(rock), godsmack, goo goo dolls, incubus, korn, maroon 5, gretchen wilson(country music), simple plan, the offspring, tool, tupac, eminem, notorious BIG, and usher. I can'y really say I like any one type of music, because as you can see by that list, I have tastes for almost any kind of music, including all those which are not by the artists listed.

I love hip hop, ive been listenin to it since i was like 6 so **** you if you hate hip hop. I hate mainstream hip hop though, all about girls and ice.... i listen to underground shit like Immortal Technique, Canibus, Chino Xl shit like that............
