how 2 improve my smiter?

hey im kinda desperate, my uber-smiter really sucks, he keeps dying in uber trist, can anyone tell me how could i improve it w/o rebuilding?

here are his stats
w/o gear
str - 120
dex - 110
vit - 285
en - 15

w gear
str - 184
dex - 143
vit - 299
en - 29

equipement (ok, im not quite rich but i do with wut i have )
helm - guillaume
ammy - 2-2 seraph
wepon - greif pb
Armor - AP Coh 863 def
shield - eth exile 1.1k + def 28 res 15 aura
gloves - dracs
rings 3%bk/raven
belt P string

plz help...ill accept any clue or suggestion

Get salvation, and use enigma instead of coh, that will get let you spend a lot of more points into vit. Also, why the **** do you have that much dex? Too much man, get until max block.

as for helm use a Shako much better then guluims or w.e
use a coh such nice resist why say no to that?! get anni torch but in strenth as little as you can and DUMP all into vit :)

most uniques are pretty easy to find with 200+ MF and hordes of MF runs. as for HRs.. you buy low and sell high, just MF until you have enough to get ~5-10 HRs worth of items, trade them for HRs, then buy off pubies, and sell to forumers (jsp/battle.net) and make a hr here 3 there until you start amassing HRs. pretty simple once you understand what people are looking for.

months ago i got 3x 36ar/20life SCs for a total of 4 HRs. when i sold all of my gear, I sold the three of them for ~75 HRs. that's just one case (bought a pair of Eth 15/15 treks for 10, sold em for 50 as well). Learn the economy, including rares/jewels, buy low and sell high. also watch for things worth HR+ and trade them. you gotta do some research, watching those 2 forums above mentioned for what type of items ppl look for and then acquire them cheap.

i have that much dex because greif pb is requierd 136 dex...
and what do you mean untill max block, i dont even have max bloch with that much dex!

u got a cta right? if not, get one. u can prebuff ur smiter with threachery runeword armor for a fade for stacked resistance and more dr% if u want.

way i see it u either don't have enough cb% or ur life is just too low (which shouldn't be that much of a problem if u got life tap from exile+dracs)

there is a smiter guide on this site. it seems to be a great guide, but very hard o follow. if someone could rewrite for us morons, that would be greatly appriciated.

switch out string for verdungo's hearty cord it gives you vita and more damage reduction
ammy is ok but try to get mara's
helm do shako and socket it with an um if you need massive res or a ber for damage reduction
also i use bk also but in my opinion use soj for added mana cause i know i die when i run out of mana from the mana burn monsters
