I'm sick and tired of lame @ss newbs always followin me around spamming "you have free?" "give me free plz". Then they get all pi$$ed when I tell them to bugger off. Or better yet, last night i was MFing meph, and some retard in A1 keeps saying "TPTPTPTPTPTPTP!!!" I told him you can't tp between acts and he was all like "Fux you then!! blah blah blah (insert noob insults here)". God, it almost makes me not want to play any more.

Yeah, Gaz was in charge of that and he let it go down the crapper. I just don't like the people who play the game, and it doesn't interest me anymore.

well i stopped tryin coz no fuxxor else does, iv been exstremely busy with work over the last few weeks, and some dam other ppl are meant to help me out at least a LITTLE , dam its been hard.

oh btw if u stopped playin for such a pointless reason as "because som noobs play it" how can u ever be lookin forward to WoW , then noobs r gunna be in evry online game u play. dont be so silly :

I stopped playing because I've been playing either Diablo I or Diablo II since about 1997. The diablo community is the most elitist I've ever been a part of. If you play Ultima Online or EverQuest you simply do not get the same levels of hostility towards new players. Your right, you always get them, you get them in real life, but with WoW 70% of this type of "person" will be filtered out by the subscription required.

I first played Diablo II about two weeks after it came out, and the way people acted was more respectful than it is now, and the more experienced players helped the newer players, and didn't mock them for their lack of knowledge, like they were born with D2 experience or something. At the risk of alienating a hell of a lot of people on this forum, the people who play d2 these days are absolutely moronic. In fact to call them that would be a compliment to most. I have probably played the game in all it's forms longer than most people here, because I'm probably five or six years older than most of you. I don't take pride in this, nor do I think it gives me the right to act in a condesending way towards new players, quite the opposite in fact, I feel it gives me a duty to impart upon them a sense of morals long forgotten.

Anyone who's been into a duel/pvp game will understand the mentality of the majority in D2, and to be honest it doesn't move me to want to play the game, knowing I'm playing with people not only far less intellegent, but probably a lot further down the chain of evolution that I am. This was a game that was once great, turned mediocre, not because of Blizzard, not because of competition, but because of the very people that play it. And that I think is the saddest thing of all.

I understand completely what it is you are saying....for the very same reasons I refuse to play D2's pvp and duelin aspect....the only thing about the game that really interests me in the challenge of creating the perfect build with all the right items, I like to collect items and trade, Ive never been very good at it, but I think its a better reason to play than just to prove how much better I am than "noobs."
And if I do get into WoW, it wont change, all that I will really be interested in is the collecting of rarities and perfecting a character build....

On a completely unrelated note...well not really, but Skye, if you don't intend to play D2 anymore, is there any chance I could use ur CD-Key? Ive been lookin for a way to mule easier and it could help....It would of course be under circumstances, that if you ever wanted me to cease its use, all u'd have to do is let me know....just a thought :)

maybe it would be a way to actually get the clan on the road (need a good botter then i can donate items) as i havnt had enuf time to make my ladder char as i hav been very busy. oh btw ye ur right bout WoW the cost for online gaming will reduce the amount of r3tard$ playin the game, and hopefully we will see descent ppl playing the game
