The D2 economy

Ok, what is with the current economy with all the hacks out there....it's just dead some guy gave me a perfect Mara's Kaleidescope and a few other lower uniques for my 7/7/18 Vampire Gaze that i found 30 minutes before! What is happening here I quite playing for a while and gave Neverwinter Nights a try then I come back and all the items I worked so hard to get are worthless? Someone please keep this discussion going and try and have some actual economy again!:

Yea I remember the good 'ol days when sojs werent worth so much and a SS wasnt worth only 2 sojs..even in 1.09 a wf was worth 40 duped sojs but some items have gone down like a grandfather sword is only worth a pul rune when they were worth like hexes in 1.09...the D2 economy is messed up. Maras aren't completely worthless...I couldn't even get one and I offered 2 psn facets, shako, bonehew, fal and ko runes, arreats, wiz spike and white wand for a 24 res one..:

oh yeah and the economy on useast sc nl is 3-20-20s, high runes, 290s, sometimes 5/5 facets, and a couple people really like ex-ladder items

on useast scl, its ist runes i hear

Yeah but that just makes it much much older, things change much more in 1year 2 months than just 2 months:P In Europe the currency seems to b just 290s and hrs, 32020s arent used that much 4 currency. sojs used to b in old ladder, but now they're worth peanuts.

Wow...my year old post has been revived...I made this just after I quit and returned for the first time. Anyway the D2 economy has been messed up ever since the expansion came out. Before I remember SOJs were rare as hell, every necro and sorc had Sigon's shield. Wow times have changed.

Ah back when 40 Chips/PGems could buy you basically any item in the game :-D and isnt Perf Maras worth a crapload?

For creating CCBs you use I think it's 3 chips and a Collosus Blade in the cube and it creates a random magic item. So you could make a Cruel Collosus Blade if you had enough chips.
