LOD Mod Xtreme v3.0, Godly New Features

Newest version of LOD Mod. I didnt update TOO much, but it was actually quite a bit. I added some things, fixed some things, and changed some annoying things, take ES + frozen armor for example. This version also has some of my newest features, like removing the -Resists penalty for NM and hell. (Yes this works), and it also has the feature that shows Traps / Summons on the Map. As always, this is clean and unbannable. Please, dont be childish and post here if you THINK its keylogged,or if you just flat out hate me. Feel FREE to post proof of it being malicious if you find some, lmfao. K, enjoy. Here's some of the Readme.

***LOD Mod Xtreme v3.0 By Ear***

Here's a small list of what the Mod can already do, just incase you dont know.

**PLEASE NOTE: This version is for the Public, so it wont have all the capabilities as the Private Version.
The Private Version will never be given out, please dont even ask.**

~ MASSIVE graphic changes for every character, some items, some maps, and MORE. Look hard for changes I'd add a list, but its honestly WAY too big.

~ No asking for cinematics disc after each act.

~ Hidden corpses / Ears (Of course)

~ In / Out of Game sound changes. (Being Hostiled, Death sounds, and channel music, etc.)

~ Changes the Refresh rate for frames, to cut down lag in-game.

~ Altered some skills to be less laggy, Take Hurricane for example.

~ Some text changes for Town / Blood moor, the Gem in channel lobby, and more.

~ Removed the -Resists penalty for NM and Hell.

~ Shows Traps / Summons on the Map.

I think thats about it, thats all I can think of right now anyways its 3 am ^_^.

Installation:

It is quite simple to install, ill take you through the necessary steps.

1) Make sure there is no Data folder in your Diablo II folder (normally c:\program files\Diablo II), if there is, delete the folder COMPLETELY.

2) Extract The Data.zip file STRAIGHT to your Diablo II folder, if done correctly it will create a folder called "Data". ~NEVER~ mess with any of the files in this folder, it could mess up the mod completely if you have no clue what you're doing.

3) Go to your Diablo II desktop icon. Right click it, and go to Properties. You will see a target to start Diablo. (Normally "c:\program files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe") At the end of that, put a space, then put -direct -txt. So it should come out like "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt

4) Start Diablo II, and enjoy.

Notes:

This is NOT compatible with any other mod out there (nightlight, badkid, gfg, gmod, etc etc.) Do not try and mix them, because it wont work.

NO, I did *NOT* steal anybodies work doing this. I started from scratch, and made this mod without stealing from anyone elses mod. Anyone who accuses me of this is an idiot, and should take a closer look at my mod compared to the rest.

NO, this is not detectable in any way, I will never release a version thats potentially dangerous.

how the hell can you take the -res penatly off the difficulties without getting banned? why wouldn't people have done this since d2 was released(not saying its bad just asking wtf). so this is seriously undetectable and it takes the -res off?

LOL, dude you're a moron. You do realize VT didnt make the designs for his mod? :) Check the credits for KOT then come back here. It's just the borders from KOT anyways even if it really wasnt my work, but you're wrong.

The mod (Resist penalty removed) is just a client-side and NOT working. ~I tryed giving extra resistances for it too lol...

Sadly when I removed delay off the blizz, that did not work too...

Because you dont know what you're doing. I know what you tried, you tried changing one txt file. You've got to change MULTIPLE things.

It's obviously for closed bnet ^^. I wouldnt release anything worthless like that. You cant get banned for it. BUT, the link is probably broken now... because FrogMan was supposed to upload it straight to site and put it in downloads but he never did. So therefore, link expired... he said it woulda been added 2 days after I first posted it, that was like what, 2 weeks ago? Who woulda known -_-. Same thing happened for old 2.0 version... ill pm frogman one more time. If he doesnt add it, screw it I guess. I tried. I'll upload it again sometime soon if frogman doesnt come through like everyone said he wouldnt... :-/

That's a new and updated link for the NEWEST version of LOD Mod, (LOD Mod Xtreme v3) since last link died. This link will last 7 days until it goes down, by then FrogMan should have it in Downloads.

I have added it too downloads(new version will be added soon).. I have used the mod. it seems fine but like i said in my news update use at own risk for the simple fact that blizzard are funny/bored people.
