    Default Is There A Way For Bot To Join Pub Games?

    hey everyone,

    is there a way i can set the bot to join random pub games instead of creating?

    or is there a way I can make it so it creates game names like Freebies Here1, then 2,3,4 and so one, people can join and hopefully better my drop rates?

    Actually yeah, not join games, but creating public games is possible;

    in the mm.bot.ini, just change the first "no", and keep the second "no" where it shows;

    Char_BNGameName_Perso = No
    Char_BNGamePass_Perso = No

    Where the first "no" is changed to the name of the game you want made. Voila!

    Wrong, that means the pw will be random.

    Well then name the game something like "pass 123" and make pass "123", and thats semi-public.

    "pass 123" and make pass "123", works, thats not "lying" or whoring my post count.

    They wouldnt know where you are at unless they are partied with you. So they cant pk you.

    True, and chicken feature should also work for that reason. If your character is strong enough to bot it should be strong enough to not be downed in one shot.

    I would have told you how to make pub games with mm.bot... but nah..
    See, public games have problems!

    When I ran mm.bot in public games, I had ~50% success, because the people BLOCK you. As you walk, the people are standing in your way, screwing the bot.

    Also some other problems are:
    Revived monsters have the same graphics as the monsters its revived from...
    Other players can hostile you. Hostile picture is transparent.. hard to detect with different background, not easy to chicken.

    I wasn't thinking hostile would be scripted to activate chicken, more just the usual health way; dueling doesn't normally include potting either, which might help against that.

    Ideally, if the original question was posed simply for better drop rates because of number in game, you wouldn't be side-by-side with others. So they couldn't block your path. You'd be off at Eldritch or where-ever, while other players would be off doing their own thing somewhere completely else?

    not really... soon people would find out that it is a BOT. they would be screwing it up eventually.

    I tested running the bot in public games and I had around 50% success rate... I was PK'd once too.

    Beside risks of screwing up the BOT or getting PK'd in public games there is a significant risk of ppl realizing you are botting (easy to see) and informing Blizz, successively getting permanently banned.

    Just forget about doing public games!
