The Stories Of Lord Apocalypse
and the Daemon Sheridan.

Lord Apocalypse:

As far is known to Lord Apocalypse he was born out of war. His mother and father both members of a small country destroyed a long time ago by a much larger one. the people of this small country knew that war was coming and most tried to prevent it where as Apocalypse's father knew that it was inevitable and as the countries most powerful (if not only true one) warrior that he had to mount a resistance and aid the escape of as many of the countries civilians as possible, when the time came Apocalypse's father told his wife it was time for her to leave, but her love for him was too strong, she refused wishing to stay by her loved ones side until the end and that night, the night before the battle Apocalypse was conceived. The battle, if it can be called such, was short and there couldn't really be any other outcome "the resistance" lay dead to a man and the women and children were took into slavery to be taken back to the larger nation but not until Apocalypse's mother managed to get her husbands cloak, a cloak Apocalypse still wears to this day.

Years Passed Apocalypse was born and born into slavery, as soon as he was old enough to wield a sickle he was put into the fields and worked until he passed out, then he was allowed a little rest and water to recuperate slightly and then forced into the same routine again and again while his mother was a maid for their slave master, she wanted to help but dare not in case both her and her son were punished, Life wasn't all bad Apocalypse made some friends while working, one of which stole his heart, her name was Angela and a beauty which Apocalypse hasn't know since, she escaped and fled to Konesidar not long before Apocalypse. Apocalypse's slave labour continued daily until Apocalypse was 13, at the age of 13 Apocalypse was forced to watch as his mother was stoned to death for conspiracy (when what had truely happened was that she'd refused to sleep with the slave master one time too many) at which time Apocalypse took matters into his own hands, sneaking into his slave masters room one night Apocalypse took his sickle, which he's hidden so he could collect later after his days labour, and slit his masters throat staying only long enough to make sure his Slave master was dead before dropping the sickle and fleeing to Konesidar.

Recent events that have come to light would suggest that the people who died weren't in-fact the true parents of Apocalypse but adoptive parents are in-fact Pamela and Zerok whether this turns out to be true is still unsure.

Apocalypse Arrived in Konesidar almost a year later with nothing but his fathers cloak and not long after arriving was nearly killed in a mugging for the cloak. New to the area and unsure of what kind of life he'd live outside slavery Apocalypse was a stick thin skeletal child like figure wrapped in a fancy cloak in the wrong part of town this soon got some peoples attention when approached by two burley people who demanded he hand over his cloak Apocalypse refused when asked again followed by a threat Apocalypse again refused, at which point the two men started to beat Apocalypse, the only reason he survived that day was because of Vincent Sheridan, one of the most competent warriors Konesidar had to offer, Intervened and almost without effort dispatched these two men.
Vincent saw me and showed pity, he was a rich man who took me into his large home, fed me gave me shelter and kept me well, teaching me the ways of the people of Konesidar and the customs. It was at this time I learnt that Konesidar was run by a twisted leader called Stasis a man who allowed his own people to suffer at the hands of his own personal army (a big bunch of bullies basically) so that he may live unopposed in luxury while the common people suffered, Apocalypse learnt that Vincent had founded and organisation geared towards bringing about Stasis's down fall and returning the land to it's people, the organisation was known as The Agents of Kismet.
Apocalypse wanted to Join Apocalypse wanted to help these people end the suffering that Apocalypse couldn't end in his old nation, Apocalypse wanted to repay the his new master for the generosity he'd shown him, after much discussion Apocalypse was allowed to join and was put under the Tutelage of Ken Knight, the second to command of the Agents of Kismet with whom Apocalypse trained for a year working on strength, stamina and technique before being released to Vincent whom Apocalypse trained under for a further Year to hone his abilities. Sparing with Vincent it was clear that he was fighting an internal struggle all the time and when asked why he explained to Apocalypse that a few years ago he was on a mission outside the walls of Konesidar to destroy a blood drinking daemon in the area..... Sheridan, But not knowing that the thing he was killing wasn't the daemon Sheridan himself but his form in his newest host, Vincent dispatched the host eventually and the spirit of Sheridan passed into Vincent’s body being the closest Viable being for him to pass into and ever since he had been wrestling for control (for more see the story of Sheridan which I'll post some other day).
Apocalypse was finally allowed out, his training complete, on street missions and quickly rose up the ranks in the agents of Kismet to become the 4th in command.
Not Long after achieving his rank Stasis somehow learned the location of the Agents HQ and sent in a Large raiding party against it, the halls of the house of Kismet ran red with blood as every man and woman of the agency though fiercely out numbered fought for their lives and the lives of their friends to the very last, unfortunately there were only three survivors of that raid, Apocalypse, Vincent, and Ken. The three men decided that their best chances of survival were to split up and flee in separate directions. Apocalypse wouldn't find out until some time later but the former blacksmith Ken Knight didn't survive that night, going back to retrieve his favourite sword, Ken was cornered by Stasis himself and another large team of Stasis's army, Ken didn't go down without a fight and took many of the army to the grave with him to only be weakened enough to be killed by Stasis himself. Stasis Left the house of Kismet Kens sword in hand and started pursuing the other two men immediately with the remnants of his army in tow.

On the run and the world before him Apocalypse decided to start searching for his hearts memory, the memory of Angela and committed a search that lead him not to his Angela, but a different one a princess of a nation known only as The Kingdom.
Apocalypse found the Princess a distance outside the kingdom being chased by four men, she was clearly in distress and was screaming for help Apocalypse drew his sword and charged in taking on all four men at once, dispatching all quickly. The princess was grateful and demanded that Apocalypse returned to her nation with her. Apocalypse entered the Kingdom amidst a civil war and protected the princess al the way back to her fortified palace and her father there she explained to her father what had happened and that Apocalypse had protected her, Her father was very grateful and gave Apocalypse his first title Sir Apocalypse.
Apocalypse joined the kingdoms army and was frequently involved in campaigns against the rebels, rising through the ranks very quickly due to his skill with a blade and ability to execute orders to perfection.
These small skirmishes continued to happen the climax being the great siege, A large force of rebels were descending upon the walls of the palace, Apocalypse was part of the force sent to crush this siege. Apocalypse saw the battlefield and made a few suggestions to his commander about unit position and manoeuvres The commander looked angry that his orders were being questioned but saw what Apocalypse was saying was in-fact a better way he ordered his troops to form up in the mew formation, and when the Rebels were drawn into position by an obvious flaw in the defence the Army of the kingdom acted quickly cavalry and infantry pinning them against the high marble walls while the archers on top of the walls shooting down at the rebels the battle was over with far less kingdom losses than was predicted earning Apocalypse the title of commander. Sir Commander Apocalypse led his new section of the army in a few strategic raids which made the rebels fear his name and surrender and come fully under the Kingdoms command and for this Apocalypse was made a Lord.

The Kingdom entered long period of peace so Apocalypse left on what he called "A democratic mission" but was truly him trying to find his old master Vincent. It took a long time as Vincent didn't want to be found, Apocalypse found the nation of GU from which to commit his search, Apocalypse eventually found him and was in a really bad shape, he'd spent a long time in a cave scavenging for food and Stasis had eventually found him, Vincent had killed the rest of Stasis's guard but had picked up some wounds from fighting them and then he fought Stasis himself Vincent Dealt Stasis a huge wound, a wound from which Stasis did unfortunately recover, Stasis fled but his last action was to throw a poison covered dagger at Vincent, Vincent either didn't see it coming or was too weak to do anything about it but the dagger struck true and Vincent lay dying in his cave. He did not however die alone Apocalypse arived in the last moments of Vincent's life and offered the man some comfort, telling him how well he had done to take out so many at such odds and about what Apocalypse had achieved since leaving Konesidar, the two talked like old friends catching up, laughing and joking until Vincent passed from this world. Apocalypse forgot about the daemon Sheridan that inhabited Vincent's body, he'd never forget again. The daemon took Apocalypse as the nearest viable being as a host. After wrestling for control of Apocalypse's body and wining Apocalypse returned to GU.

Apocalypse returned to GU meaning only to rest collect some provisions and return to the Kingdom, Rumour reached Apocalypse that the Large nation that had destroyed his parents nation was sending and army against the Kingdom to destroy it and expand their borders. Hearing this Apocalypse got on his horse and rode as hard as he could day and night not stopping for anything pushing the horse at a full gallop towards his old nation, when almost there the Horse keeled over and died and Apocalypse Ran the rest of the way sword drawn preying that the rumours were false. When Apocalypse did reach the kingdom he found his old nation raised, everyone dead including women and children, apparently too many and being killing their slave masters and fleeing, the nation had learned not to take slaves. when Apocalypse reached his old nation and stood in the streets he stood there with tears in his eyes and stayed their distraught for many days right until the pioneering team sent by the large nation found him, exhausted, distraught, half starved and now threatened Apocalypses will slipped and he became fully the daemon Sheridan and when he regained control the path of devastation left behind him was like nothing he'd ever seen before people literally turned inside-out people drained dry of their blood (and apocalypse feeling quite full) gore everywhere, Apocalypse vowed to keep a tighter reign on Sheridan.

Apocalypse returned to GU and in honour of his fallen nation created the clan Known as the Kingdom, it is here that Apocalypse first met Pamela. Apocalypse took his clan nation and raised it in power to equal that of the four super powers of the GU nations. Apocalypse Allied with one of the other Super nations, but was betrayed by one of his own members who joined one of the other super powers with critical information about The Kingdom.
Apocalypse had to act quickly to stop his nation being destroyed The then King Apocalypse, led his army against this nation, his ally saw Apocalypse's intention and also attacked this nation but in a reckless manner in a bad strategic place, Apocalypse had to move his troops out of place to stop His ally being destroyed and where as they both stood the nation had time to organise it's defences and Apocalypse couldn't take it on this day due to his allies foolishness. Later Apocalypse returned alone to this nation with a feeling that he had to do something, Standing on top of a hill he searched in his mind and there he realised he could exert some control over Sheridan fully transforming but keeping his own Identity Apocalypse Sheridan, or just Sheridan to those who saw the destruction he wreaked that night accessed Sheridan's most powerful move at Sheridan's willing. The Vanquish of an Angel, A move so powerful that Sheridan had developed it not only to destroy Angles but fully destroy their souls as well, not knowing it's power to destroy all it touched including souls at it most powerful Apocalypse unleashed the Vanquish and held it, the beam leapt from his outstretched hand and destroyed the buildings it touched and as he held it the power began to increase, such is the nature of the Vanquish, finally leaving an area of destruction where this nature once stood, that much power doesn't come without cost though and Apocalypse's body was warped beyond all recognition and he died, fortunately for Apocalypse the gods fear Sheridan and returned Apocalypse to life as he had found the way to control Sheridan The Spirit of Sheridan was forced back into Apocalypse kicking and screaming.

Apocalypse returned to the Kingdom, a few months had passed and his chosen heir had taken up the throne, Apocalypse allowed his heir Jason to keep the throne as Apocalypse Yearned to be a lord again so that he could lead the armies from the very front and not have to worry about the fate of his nation if he fell.
Seeing what the kingdom could do under the command of Lord Apocalypse the once ally of Apocalypse turned against the kingdom thinking that his nation was more powerful than the kingdom thinking that since the Kingdom had already destroyed one of the super powers that the glory for his nation would be double that that the Kingdom had received when it destroyed one of the other super powers. With that Apocalypses old ally launched an unexpected raid on the Kingdom, The Kingdom was on the back foot at first not truly realising what was happening or why their once allies were attacking them, the Kingdom quickly recovered destroying this raiding force and immediately charging against his old ally Apocalypse rode with a fury never seen before except while he'd been Sheridan and quickly destroyed his old allies nation.
This got the Kingdom a very good reputation and many rallied to Join the Kingdom small upstart nations kept rising up against the kingdom to be quickly destroyed as easily as sneezing, three of these nations were destroyed before Apocalypse and his King decided it was time to go after the last super power and become the ruling class like the Kingdom deserved on GU. This final Super power was the one that held GU's current ruling class but Apocalypse and the king were sure they could destroy this nation as Apocalypse's tactics had become more and more advanced to the point he was an expert at war.
Lord Apocalypse was sure he couldn't lose and that the power would be theirs, so he gave a grand speech to rally his armies and tell them of his plans. Unfortunately the powers that be decided that he was too much of a threat and started making threats to members of the Kingdom that unless they turned against Apocalypse their families would be the ones to suffer. It worked, the men were scared and four turned against Apocalypse at once and he dispatched them, not wanting to bring any more harm to any of his friends Apocalypse Fled the Kingdom.

Apocalypse wandered for a few years and on the road met a man from a religion calling themselves the cult of Sheridan. This man drew Sheridan out of Apocalypse’s body and gave him physical form effectively ending the curse the god’s had put upon him after the fall, the man did not realise just how much Sheridan Hated all humans even one trying to help him and was destroyed in a particularly messy way weakened by the experience Apocalypse was no match for the daemon and was beaten within an inch of his life stripped of his armour and dumped in a cell. Sheridan would allow Apocalypse enough time to fully recover before beating him within an inch of his life again and again and again, Apocalypse was allowed to retain his sword to have at least a sporting chance but the daemon was two fast his attacks too strong, Apocalypse was being punished for all the times he’d kept the daemon restrained. Lying in his cell one day recovering Apocalypse swore to the gods that he’d destroy the daemon if they were to lend him a portion of power and when Sheridan net visited the cell apocalypse was standing waiting for him a radiant white the daemon was shocked to find that Apocalypse was matching him in speed and power and eventually delivered a blow that would banish the daemon to the abyss.

Free of the daemon taint and being able to call upon a fraction of the power of the God’s Apocalypse ventured into the world to bring good and end daemons wherever they were to be found, finding his old friend Pamela Apocalypse decided to settle n the sector D2 where his story continues to this day.

Sheridan:

Before the gods created the world, before the gods created man there was the Angels, Sheridan was one among these. The Angels believed that when the world was being created it was being created for them and when instead it was given to man (a less competent, in the Angels eyes, care taker of the world) a full half of the Angels united under the evening star ( a powerful Angel) Sheridan was among these and one of the most fearsome fighter, the heavens warred many an Angelic life was lost on either side until eventually the gods themselves stepped in, the rebels surrendered but such was Sheridan’s hatred for humans he continued to kill humans and Angels alike. It took many Angels and one of the God’s themselves to Stop Sheridan, the rebels were each given various punishments while those who had stayed loyal were rewarded in such a way that they cold never truly die. Seeing Sheridan’s Hatred for mankind the gods punished him so that he could no longer have a physical form of his own instead his spirit had to b hosted by a human, and when that human died his spirit would pass into the closest human for all eternity.
Sheridan wasn’t one for taking his punishment lying down and found ways to break his hosts will and take control of the bodies, some of histories most mass murdering evil tyrants have in-fact all being Sheridan in a weak willed body. Sheridan found ways to fight back often destroying weak hosts to inhabit a stronger body; he found a way to make his spirit stronger off the blood of humans and was probably the first Vampire. He found ways to use this power to form beams of energy and was possibly the first to master ki. But no attack has been developed before or since as feared by all as the Vanquish of the Angels, a ki attack developed by Sheridan so powerful that he came up with it as a way around the Gods blessing upon their faithful Angels, it is rumoured that the gods themselves fear this attack Sheridan has wasted scores of hosts just to rid himself of as many Angels most particularly the ones that took him down.
Sheridan is currently in a state of Banishment only himself and the gods know the conditions of which and all are hoping that the condition is never met for another reign of blood would be brought on the planet and in the heavens if Sheridan was to find a weak host again.
