hero editor Q

okay so I've used this editor before, but only on single-player and i don't have v. 0.8

i currently have the newest version and when i try and open up my folders, nothing is there. through the editor i go into save, then USWest and nothing's in the folder. is this because i don't have v 0.8 or is there just something i'm missing?

any help is much appreciated, thanks

If you are trying to edit Closed B.net characters, forgot about it because editors only edit your characters in your "save" folder, not your "save\realm" folder (aka your Single Player/Open B.net characters).

If you don't have any Single Player characters, you'll need to make a new character first in-game, and then exit and open it up in Hero's Editor.

Ah, I wasn't aware Hero Editor was only for Open B-Net.

I dont want to burst anyone's bubble.. but there is stuff out there you can edit your char on closed.. Just got to spend money for it.. I had a friend lsat ladder who had edited gear.....

not likely due to the fact that closed bnet characters are stored on Battle Net Servers, not your computer.
