    Question Corrupt MF Rumour

Please correct me if im wrong but ive heard on several occastions that mf is corrupt or doesnt work properly in 1.10. People have supposedly checked the code and something is wrong, what, they wont say just that the system d2 uses is now broken. Whether mf is resetting after a certain amount or anything else i dont know just wondering if anyone else has heard this or knows for certain if its all a load of rubbish.

    Thx

MF isn't broken, even if it seems like it at times. I use 704% mf on my sorc (she's a sweet little killer), and even my luck gets down. I did 50+ meph runs a couple days ago, and the best thing I found was a near-perfect verdungo's...not bad, not great. Yet I have had good days, too. MF works as badly as ever :P :

After the 500% mark the chance of uniqes dropping starts going up REALLY slow. So 1000% is not that much better than 500% for uniqes. Its better to get better killing gear with 500% and do runs faster.

You have to remember that your %mf has no bearing on how 'good' the items you find are. It only determines whether a monster's drops are magic/rare/unique, and the monster itself decides what items out of those categories are capable of dropping.
