ok, i met a girl called Lorraine at a party on Saturday and i can honestly say it was love at first sight, she was the most beautiful girl i had ever seen! i got to know her and she was perfect we have soo much in common. we talked all night long. i got her number and i called her the next day and i arranged to meet up with her today, after texting her a few times expressing my feelings towards her telling her i liked her, alot, she texted me back saying she did like me aswel. on the date it was fun i was a little nervous and shy, but it seemed to go ok. It rained all day so we basically stayed at hers' all day talking and, lol doing each other's hair, i let her straiten my hair and it actually looked really cool. but every time i looked at her today she made me smile and feel really happy. when i had to go she walked me to the bus stop and we hugged and i kissed her on the cheek and said good bye and i had alot of fun.
ok, now i texted her about 1 minute ago telling her that today my feelings for had grown greater after today, and saying that i had fallen for her. i also asked her out )being actually boy friends and girl friend). she hasnt replied yet im hoping she feels the same way as i feel.

ooh, i just got a message back saying. she had fun but she isn't sure
because we only just met and we don't know each other that well, and thats she is really sorry.
but i figured thats wasn't a no, it was a give it more time sort of thing. and im the idiot for moving to quick.
i hope this hasn't effected or friendship at least

Never keep girils as friends, when you first start knowing them then you get no ***** and no chance to get her as your girl :) That is just a reminder i use to myself.. :)

yay she understands, she says that she is glad i didn't take it in a bad way. so it looks like our friendship is still good thank god!

Too bad it didn't work out for you guys as you had wanted it to off the bat, but it's good that you guys are still friends, at now she knows how you feel toward her, and you know that she likes you (even if she isn't ready for the next step). So yeh, make sure you keep friends with her, and perhaps in the future if your friendship expands and becomes better you two may feel closer to one another. Like a scale, you two will need to have feelings for one another and both agree upon taking the next step. I wish you all the luck that I had (around 17 months ago) when me and my girlfriend decided to take that step.

I wish you well hun!*hugs* Persistence is the key,I will explain. My best friend in school wanted me but I did not want him.He chased me for 7 years,and to be frank wore down my resistance.

We are now married for 25 years and have 3 kids.

On a side note he proposed when we were 12 and I thought he was a nutcase.

Something similar to this has happened to me actually, if you are unlucky you will end up being sad, stop being her friend, then get out of the semi-depression, and then become best of friends and nothing more. Oh and she might also end up going out with one of your best friends

True story, hope your strong enough in the head to handle it if it happens to you :)

if you're lucky tho, well she'll see that maybe you two could be together. (that happens less often though)

As far as i know (from the girls i've met) "i'm not sure" means no in a girls dictionary. Might be different with her, keep at it. You never know what might happen, as Pamela's sweet story proves =)

@Speedyw00t: He claimed it was love at first sight,and he never wavered in this.I am not sure from a girls means the *Love at first sight* was not what happened on her part,but that love is a possible occurence.Yes 7 years after his 12 year old proposal we married at age 19,this is true love.
We shared a locker all thru school(even though he was a year ahead of me due to birthdates) I was advanced a year in most classes and we sat together.

I knew the first time I saw mine too that i'd be with her forever. That was in third grade and then she moved away...

Oh but she came back 8th grade and have been together since.

SLOW DOWN! You kinda freaked her out, from what I read it's been 2 days, you need to slow down for her sake and yours. Trust me it's good for both of you.

pam, i love you! dan, i love you but not in a gay way! you guys are exactly right, i wouldt give her up for te world, i dont if we live miles away from eachother ill visit her when ever i can and i dont care if we go to different school we'll find a way to make it work. thats dedication right?
anway i texted her a little while ago asking how her first day back at school was and she was just normal lorraine, so nothing weird.
i apreciate the advice pam, dan and everybody else. i still wish i didnt jump the gun, but i think she apreciates the fact hat i had the courage to say the words i said.
