Character Build Testing Guide

BEFORE WE START, THESE PROGRAMS/FILES ARE COMPLETELY VIRUS FREE AND WILL NOT NOR EVER GET YOU BANNED.
THESE FILES/PROGRAMS ARE FOR SINGLE PLAYER AND OPEN BATTLE.NET USE ONLY.

Sometimes people are confused whether they should make a build or not, or if its going to be a waste of time for them. Heres a way you can test out the guide, and on characters for the strategy usages.


Before we move on to any of these steps. You NEED to have these in order to move on.

Hero Editor

Kental Sins Item Pack

Download both of those programs
**Note if you are prompted to register, do so.**

Install Hero Editor.
Take the item pack you downloaded, extract it to your save folder which is located in your Diablo II folder.

Once you have that stuff taken care of, get that guide out that you have been waiting to test out. Now go into Diablo 2, single player, and make the character.(character has to be the character that the guide is for)

Exit out of it, now you are on the diablo screen. Minimize out of that(alt+tab)

Open up Hero Editor. Click "Open" at the bottom, locate you save folder in your diablo 2 folder, the character you made should be there.

Open him/her.

Now, this is where the item pack comes in handy.(note, all items in the item pack are legit)

Say you wanted to get out an enigma.(any item you want)
Right click in the spot where it is supposed to be(helm, armor, boots, etc..)
And select "import item".
Now in your save folder should be the kental sins item pack folder, click it, then you see "diablo 2 items" click that, now you are at the items. Locate your item and double click it. There you go, its there.
Now do that for every item the character needs.
**NOTE THE ITEM PACK SHOULD HAVE EVERY ITEM YOU NEED **


STATS

When you are working with the stats, DO NOT add them from hero editor, it wont be effective to anything(life, dex, mana)
So what you simply do is set your stats and go in game and then use them.
Skills doesnt really matter which way you do it.

Remember to save your character.
