I think one thread for this would be good, if you need help building a new computer, post here with...

Processor preference- AMD or Intel
Graphics preference- ATI or nVidia
XP or Vista or Linux
Monitor (want one? if so say how big)
Your Country
Price Range
What the computer will be used for
Tech Experience / Knowledge

People responding should factor all of these into total cost.

Processor
RAM
Hard Drive(s)
Graphic Card(s)
Case
Motherboard
PSU (Power Supply Unit)
Monitor (if requested)
Fans
Watercooling (if needed)
CD/DVD drives

All items should have links to a online store such as Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

Any extra advice for the person building it can be left after those items are posted.

If your suggesting a build for someone, please quote their post asking for the setup, that way people will not be confused.

Any questions for the person should be PM'd so this thread doesn't get too cluttered.

If the person asking for the computer doesn't know an answer to one of the questions, state that, and we will try to help to the best of our ability.

Anything that I have left out please PM me, try to keep this thread free from spam.

Also, if you are giving someone a build, make sure all the items are compatible with each other!
