please help with d2loader!

here's what I did, exactly:
uninstalled d2
reinstalled d2 + xpac
installed d2loader v 1.11 (also tried 1.11b)
replaced the diabloII.exe with d2loader
copied d2xvideo and d2xmusic to the diablo II folder
tried to start d2loader

and i got the "hey guys; we got a big problem here" message.

here's what's at the bottom of my crash log or whatever...

I've tried a bunch of different things to try to make it work...been trying to get d2loader to work almost all of yesterday and a lot of today so far...it's really annoying me anyone have some help?

Probably have to install the patch: http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/diablo2e...Patch_111b.exe

Also make sure you renamed the d2loader.exe to "Diablo II"
