zod rune in eth quantity items?

Hey all, I was wondering. If i put a zod rune into an eth item that uses quantity (such as a throwing knife) will the item no longer be able to run out of quantity? ty

you can't socket any throwing objects.

how dissapointing is it that you cant socket javeliens? lol. but i guess diablo was kind of thinking when they did that... cause if you put a jewel in a javelien, that means you throw a javelien and bam the jewels gone. you'd have to socket each and every javelien with a jewel, which makes it unrealistic and silly. yet, uber diablo and uber mephisto are totally realistic and not silly. -.-
