has anyone gotten this to work on vista x64? all I get is a small black square in the upper left corner of my screen and then nothing.
hah I figured that part out Now what happens is that when I switch between the two one always goes off kilter there is a setting but I can't remember it it is something like -800 or -res 800 hmm does anyone remember that setting?
-res800
Start at 800x600 (avoids window moving off-center on load)
When I try to log-in to B.Net with the D2-Loader, I get "CD-key in use by .." and then obviously my name. How can I fix this because it seems I'm doing something wrong.
Run Multiple Copies of Diablo 2
Before We Start
- You will need more then one set of Classic\Expans CD keys. How do you get one? It is up to you to figure out a way to get more then one copy. Mods please PM me, I have a text file with a list of a bunch of CD keys, I do not want this post deleted and I am not sure if I can post it and not get in trouble.
- You no longer need a modded dll
- You will need onlyers tool
Getting Down to Business
1 Make a copy of the shortcut to d2loader (Diablo II) on the desktop, and paste another one on the desktop. You will need two shortcuts on the desktop for later, each will use a different set of CD keys.
2 Extract the entire d2-cdkey.zip into its own folder.
3Copy the cdkey.mpq into your Diablo II folder.
4 Right click on the auto-cdkey.reg and choose edit.
Modify the entry to look like this
The bold text needs to be changed to what it says.Code:REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II] "owner"="NAMEFROMKEYHERE" "d2cdkeympq"="cdkey.mpq" "d2xcdkeympq"="cdkey.mpq" "d2cdkey"="Extra CD Key Here" "d2xcdkey"="Extra CD Key Here"
5 Save the file. Right click on auto-cdkey.reg and select Merge
7 Open the d2-cdkey.exe from Onlyer's pack and Refill Both CD Keys
6 Right click on one of the desktop shorcuts. Choose Properties. Modify the Target box to look like the one below.
"*Your Diablo2 File, DO NOT CHANGE THIS*" -mpq cdkey.mpq
The dash and the add-on must be added to one of the two shortcuts only

I like to thank Frogman for making my awesome sig!
The stuff needed can be found in our downloads.
Be sides the keys u will have to find them yourself.
First and foremost, thank you for the program, it is a wonderful tool that really decreases the amount of stress caused by this atrocity of a soul-sucking, narcotic. It's a wonderful game.
Second, my sincerest apologies if I post this in the wrong thread. I poked my head around a bit for a forum/thread this would fit better in, but I've also been awake for an extended period of time.
Finally, I just can't get this thing to work, after well over an hour of tinkering.
I have gone through multiple help forums, done what worked for me with D2loader for 1.11b just last week, and I still can't get this to work right for me.
The message that keeps tying me down is the "Your CD Key was intended for another application," or some such.
I have done the following:
- imported the two mpq files from the expansion disc into my d2 folder.
- created 2 cdkey.mpq files, differently named.
- imported their data into registry.
- ran the cd key refiller.
- created 2 D2loader.exe files on my desktop, pointing to those different cdkey.mpq files
After the turmoil of trying to mix and match all of this stuff to get it to work correctly, no matter what I've tried, I can get the original cd key I installed to work fine, but when I try to run the second instance of D2, I either get the message about my CD key being intended for another application, or I got the message that said the key was in use by myself (I was able to rectify that problem).
A couple questions:
1. If I have two cdkey.mpq files in the D2 directory, do I need to have two .reg files to correspond to those mpq files? (or vice versa)
2. If the answer is yes, can I just copy and paste the first .reg file and then change the entry data? (of course, afterwards importing the data into the registry)
3. For awhile, I couldn't get the cdkey filler to create a .mpq file. Since I already had one in there, I had to rename it (so that the .reg file was pointing to somewhere that didn't exist), that finally brought up the installation prompt, and I got a new cdkey.mpq. Does this mean I've done something extremely stupid somewhere along the line and I just keep tripping over myself? Or was I on to something?
I truly, seriously, have come to this as a last resort, I would like to think that I am not a retard and can follow simple instructions that are all over the place, but I would like to think that if my experience is solvable, then maybe it will help others as well.
Finally, all four (2 D2C, 2 LOD) cd keys I am using are in working order, being entered correctly, and have not been banned.
Thank you, sincerely, in advance for any help that can be given.
Is anyone getting lag now with the new d2loader?
When I run more than 2 loaders im gettin some pretty unplayable lag.
In previous versions of d2laoder i would just add -sleepy command line, and everything would be all good after that
Now with 1.12 loader im laggin no matter what?
anyone else having this problem?
killing uber trist bosses with this kind of lag is very difficult
help!
thx
hey, i've been running d2loader fine for a couple weeks now, with autotele 1.6
just today i tried running it in windowed mode to add the maphack functions of autotele. unfortunately, it loaded fine in windowed mode, but as soon as i clicked on the b.net button, it crashes. no error, the window just closes and nothing else happens.
single player runs fine.
help plz?
Guys, how's it going?
I've finally managed to run diablo 2 in two windows yesterday. Now I'm kind of confused. I made a game using my new char. (a necro level 1), activated the 1st quest. Then I've entered the same game (in another window) with another char. (a necro level 92) and while on a party with the other char., I cleaned the den . But the level 1 char. exp. bar did not raise a bit, even thou it accomplished the quest. In another words, my level 1 char. did not level up. I moved him to the Den to test, left him in the acampment, but the experience bar did not raise. What's going on?
well that is because of you lev 92 char sucked up all of the xp which isn't much the only thing I suggest and what I do is I use one player to get all of the wps and then just join chant games , I use four windows so I can just use my own chanter and chant myself level to 20 then I make cows and then rechant my char and kill cows until lev 24 once I get there I rush myself so I can baal. since I play hard core I only ball myself so I don't get tppked. that is my suggestion
Is it possible to make D2Loader working for classic? (I got expansion too but I want to open only 2x classic windows)
I am getting the message, "D2 Loader does not recognize this version of Diablo II. This build is only designed to work with Diablo II v1.12."
Anyone able to help me correct this?
Yo >< just made my account . mmmm how to insert the command? like -w at the command prompt? or
