I Need help!!

Recently i had a virus on my computer. I have gotten rid of it for good now, But i still am having some probs i cant seem to connect to B.Net on Diablo 2 . I get past the part were it says Connecting to fastest server then it stops and says could not connect to battle.net its like i have no internet going or something. Anyways i run a Hewlett Packard, 56k modem, and Windows XP Can somone plz help me i havnt been able to play for 4 days and dont want my mules to expire!!!

if you have permed your mules (played for 2+ hours), you should have 90 days until they expire (in your case 86 days), so just try to make sure you still don't have any virus's or wahtever, and then check your modem connection and make sure still have internet going. then you should be able to connect to b.net.

My internet is working fine, I checked that, Its like it wont read that internet is working it says Could not connect to B.Net and that my internet isnt on i dont understand this but if i bought new Cd-Keys and a whole new Battle chest would this help me ?

try reinstalling the game clean?

what i mean by clean is unistall the game delete the directory and reinstall

If your internet works fine then it should be obvious that your serverfiles of Diablo II are infected. Re-install ASAP, before you might get hacked...Oh, and use a up-to-date virusscanner in the future, it's for your own good.

this has happened to me also, i can't get on, i reinstalled and all but still dont work its pissin me off

Ive had this similar problem, check your firewall and router, are they setup to receive packets and are they sending packets? not sure how to check it but i went into my router setup and opened the ports d2 use
