    Post Pseudoreso - High Resolution

The name says all, its the pseudoresolution sheppard released for 1.11 updated for 1.12! This allows you to use a resolution of 1300x700
Inject it into your D2 process and push the SUB (-) key on numpad! All files needed to inject are included.

    Download:

    Default Pseudoreso Guide!

Quick guide to Pseudoreso High Resolution
    By Spitfire

    1. Download Pseudoreso (it contains the DLL injector used in this tut)

    2. Extract RemoteLib_demo into your Diablo Folder. i.e. D:/Games/Diablo II/RemoteLib/

    3. Copy Pseudoreso.dll and main.cpp into your Diablo folder or RemoteLib folder. It shouldn't matter.

    4. Create a new Diablo II game. Note: I have only tested this in windowed mode!

    5. Open <path>/Diablo II/RemoteLib/Demo.exe (In Vista it may help if you right click on it and choose run as Administrator)

    6. Under Parameters in the HWND section click "Find" and select the Diablo II Process. In this Case "Diablo II" and click "OK"

    7. Now in DLL Path click "Browse" and select the Pseudoreso.dll file and click "Open"

    8. Now Click on "Call RemoteLoadLibrary" and you will see some text appear saying if it was successful or not!

    9. Now go back into your Diablo II game and hit the minus (-) key on your number pad. For Laptops you may have to hit your FN key plus the corrosponting key to get minus (-)

    10. Now your D2 Will be in High Resolution!

Note: I experienced a bit of a black void area once in high resolution. To get rid of it simply open your Inventory (I)

I have followed all the steps to get the mod to run but all I get is a blank black screen, I have an LG 22" wide screen but under the resolutions allowed it doesn't show this particular resolution, any ideas on how to get it to work.

Are you running in full screen mode or in Windowed? As far as I know it's only for Windowed.

AFAIK windowed mode only. I have the same black screen issues on a 1920x1200 laptop screen. There are programs you can get to contain your mouse to the Diablo II window so you don't accidentally click outside of it.

Works like magic. High res now but agreeing with one of the previous poseters that it would be awsome to get this in full screen. I know there is a 1280x??? out there. Checked it out a coupple of days ago but didn't get it to work.
Anyways, thanks for the respond Spitfire, very nice stuff.

    Hello, very nice hack.

one thing that bothers me is when you open up the inventory the items are in the middle of the screen but the Inventory background (the squares, the equipment slots) are to the right of the screen.

    Is this supposed to happen?

Edit : how do you click on your potions? and is there a way to put the potion graphics in the potion belt?
