Well, I recently used limewire to download a torrent rather than uTorrent. I was just wondering, is there any benefit of using uTorrent over limewire or vice-versa when downloading torrents?

As long as darkness flows through my veins, I will never cease, As long as my dreams still haunt me, I will never show mercy, and as long as evil lives I will never die.....
why dont u just use torrent sites like mininova.com or demonoid or anything, i really only would download music from programs like limewire or bearshare, although i recently did just download 2 movies
. . . at ease, i puff trees till i look chinese
. . . and immigration says can we see
. . . your green card, please.....?
Those websites are torrent search engines, not the P2P program itself. All torrents can be used by most P2P programs.
Limewire isn't a very popular program to download torrents on. It has integrated the BitTorrent application for around 2 years. While uTorrent has been downloading torrents for awhile. I recommend using uTorrent or Azureus just because of the sheer popularity.

I, personally would use uTorrent as it is more suited for torrents.
o.O i didn't know Limewire did torrents now.
I like UTorrent (for windows) because it's tiny, uses almost no resources, and gets the job done. LimeWire is a bloated walking advertisement =p
that's the benifit in using UTorrent over LimeWire
