suggestion for this site

Just want to say that the "please post 15 replies before you can post any image or link" policy is annoying. What is the goal of this ?
I uploaded a file and I cannot post the link where it can be downloaded in the appropriate thread.
So I have to post stupid things like that....

Moreover I haven't find a way to upload my avatar, can somebody help me plz ?

It's there because some people thought it'd be cool to spam the forums over and over. 15 posts isnt much. If you're really desperate, just find random threads and post random things in them.

Exactly what Blue said. Bots can spam this forum quite easily if the 15 posts rule wasn't around. It makes life a bit harder for them. That and the admin and mods don't want to spend their time scanning and running around the forum getting rid of ads.

I'm sorry, but it's not going to change.

15 posts isn't that hard to work up.

It would be great if we can make links and post pictures in the description in the download page.

Ok to address the suggestion,it isn't even about the bots,though they are prevelant and annoying.Do you have any idea how many 1 post wonders have come here to leave us"special little pictures and links"?

Im looking at adding a download section here @ blizzsector that would have more features than the d2sector downloads script, which has now been abandoned by the developer :|

I was thinking that this forum was different from Laz's where you get flamed or have stupid sarcasm as answer when asking a question...

A suggestion is not really a question. No one called you a noob,or flamed you in any way.How you concieved my post as a personal attack left me baffled.
Spit is FAMOUS for being open minded and actually CARING about his members suggestions and concerns over this site.
All suggestions are looked at and considered.

I am sorry you thought I was picking on you.For future reference,if I WAS...there would be no doubt.....

Spit posted about your suggestion on downloads...anything else you think will improve us?
