Trade Hack is getting out of control.

Yesterday, my friend Josh went to a game to trade his hoto. Sounds all good, but when the guy on the other end wished to see it in the trade screen, he pushed the button for him, lost his hoto. Later that day he went into a normal ol' trade game, and if he sees something he likes, he will put all his gear that he's wearing in the window to see the other dude would like it. Well, the guy needed to go "make space". He came back, Josh put his things in the window and again, the check was pressed by the guy. He now has a naked druid.

All this on USWest Non-ladder. Try and look

thats been happening a lot on us west non ladder. thing is, dont trade anymore.

I dont trade outside of my "circle" of contacts. And when I do get gutsy enough to try and trade. I make sure the check box stays red until I know im getting what im paying for.

Yeah I do that too, I put up an item and take it off and put it back on right away, like I'm flashing it. Then when the box is gettin ready to go normal I do it again.

lol well your friend anit too smart "trade scam 3.0" anit hard to avoid.. all it is swichin items really fast without the delay just look before u accept... LOL

Is the trade hack a Non ladder thing only? Or can it happen on Ladder also?

Actually Smartass, its the hack where the guy presses your checkbox for you, not the one that switches items.

He can't do it for you, you have to do it yourself. Don't type anything while trading with someone.

He would need connection to your computer to be able to push it for you.

The method for th4 is to leave the trade while victim is still in trade. Request him to trade and ask a question (he will hit enter to respond, so at the same time he also accepts the new trade). Now the victim is in trade again with you, he sees your items, but they are just images. Now you ask him to move his items and after that you both accept. You just traded nothing for something.

I not sure about East Siluru but I have never heard anything about this on USW Ladder..... Actually now that I think about it I met a barb last night that said that his whole Ik set was stolen. Someone actually took it off of him. Maybe this is what he meant :

i think its not like hes checking ur button. that happen to me in 1.09 usw classic, but its a bit different, a guy wants to trade a p.master for one of my legit boots( its a nice damn legit boots) he shows me his pmaster & i showed him d boots in the trade window, then ok he said hes gona make a space, he went to the stash then came bck to me then trade window, he puts pmaster, then i put the boots, he checks his button, knowing that everything is fine, i check mine, then i open my inv, i dont have the boots & ring.. but i didnt know tthat theres still a trade hack in 1.10...

I doubt you do, but feel free to prove me wrong. I don't really play d2 anymore, so I don't really care if it works or not.

yea there is belive my dude i just got jacked a soj yesterday and my 2 lidless shields wich shield arent that hard to find but the fing soj i was pisssssssssed
