    Default Video card vs Memory

Hey, I'm buying an alienware M17 gaming laptop, and because I just bought a new TV for $800, my budget will only allow me to spend upto $1400 on this gaming laptop. I have room for an upgrade from 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3870 to Dual 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3870 - CrossFireX™ Enabled! or from 2gigs of memory to 4gigs. Both of these aren't good, but which one should I upgrade. I'll be playing games such as Flight Simulator:X, Counter-strike:Source and 1.6, Diablo II, and WoW. I don't know how well Flight Simulator would run if I chose more memory or dual video cards.

    Any help would be appreciated.

dual vid cards in a laptop?!?! WTF
anyhow, get the greater video card, b/c you can always add more ram yourself later. you cant do that with a laptop video card.

and wow.. if your only going to be playing these modest games, then i think your laptop is a bit overkill

imo, 17 inches or above and you cant fit it into your backpack
(that is of course you actually carry it around with you)

I have a Dell 17" and I agree its a pain in the ass to carry and heavy. It lived on a desk anyhow so didnt matter. You can always plug a LCD + wireless keyb/mouse into the laptop if your using it at a desk.
