The amp is 6.6 yards but its only lvl 18 (17+ skills with charms, and items). I try to make everything how a GG charc would be on ladder bnet. I can't use ladder runewords like insight or infinity but I gave items the same exact attributes as those. Nothing is set so high that it should bug (atleast I think).

[EDIT: I did lower the amp damage since its radius didn't go up, it was lvl 32 at the time of first post, now its lvl 18 with the same radius as lvl 32, seems to be where it capped at]

it show at 6.6 yards it is at lvl 8 but at lvl 20 it is 14.6 - so the editor must not go past the 6.6 mark is about all I can come up with - like you were says it must be at that cap in Hero Editor

OK, I am on Windows 7 64. I installed as administrator, I run the editor as administrator, I run the editor in xp compatibility mode, same as the game. I have also tried all sorts of other combinations of the above. I have a legitimate save file .d2s in the default location. Below is an image of the editor, note no tabs in sight and also it cuts off at the bottom so that I have to hide the task bar to see the full program.


It does not find my save file and it is not working. Suggestions?

I am not sure but it looks like you have your computer screen res set where everything is very big
if you have teamviewer where I can log on and see if I can help you

Thanks, I made the text size smaller and can now see the tabs. Unfortunately I am getting a runtime error 48 message "error in loading dll" when I go to open my save file. I installed the latest version from this site.

try uninstalling it and then reboot your computer and then reinstall it and see if that helps

well it is not a missing dll - that just what the error msg says - only other things I can come up with is try to shut all program that you can that are running and did you installed it in its own folder -

Yes, installed to default location.

Shutting down everything I can yields no results.

I remember using this editor back in the day and it rocked. For now I am going to use Blackbird.
