So basically, I just got a droid transform. Through sprint.
And long story short, its running sluggish and I found out I cant store 95% of my apps on my memory card. But I heard the better ones can. So as of right now, I want to exchange it, but they want me to pay a $35 stocking fee.... I'm trying to get out of it, but as of right now it seems like I'm stuck.
So my first question is, any tips on getting out of it?
Next question is, if I do get a new phone, which one (a droid for sprint) should I get? I'm looking to upgrade to one of those 4G phones, so basically $50-100 more that I have to pay to get it. So opinions and reasons?
Last question, in my situation, not a whole lot of money, but enough to afford this and still live (I'm borrowing money, but I can get out of paying it, or most, until later) comfortably.
Should I
"A" Get a new phone even though the restocking fee is there
or
"B" Root my phone to be able to store any app on the memory card (I heard this gets rid of widgets or at least can)?
And why with either option you pick?
If I can get out of the restocking fee, I'll be exchanging it for a better one no matter what, so opinions on the second question matter to me alot as well. Just make sure to include the why otherwise I'll probably be going with the HTC EVO.
Thanks everyone for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
