Pffft, I heard multiple top officials were taken out too. Probably way too unorganized to do anything about it.
Have they given any visual proof of his death? Not just a bombed room?
.
Yes they did Luke, the bodies were all posotively identified and were given a buriel at sea.In 1998 the attempt would have been successful had not the Pakistani internal security tipped Bin Laden off right before the operation.
This time no such mistake was made and security remained unbreached.

There was also DNA proof, but I doubt that counts as visual.
anyone care to speculate on what the USA will do the Pakistan? i bet the USA will cut off all economic support or similar.

I doubt that...we have a wishy-washy leader.

His people confirmed he was dead today and they are talking like its on now
Al Qaeda, in Web message, confirms bin Laden's death - CNN.com
Bring it,there is nowhere to run,no place to hide, that we will not track down every last one.It disgusted me the way his burial was handled....all the victems of his murderous plans were given no such courtesy.
I would rather have seen his head on a pike, have him buried in the States,so all the families he took loved ones from could dance on his grave.

The proper burial that was provided for bin laden is the exact reason why we as Americans are a far superior group of people compared to al qaida. Be happy that we executed an unarmed man instead of making the taxpayers foot the bill to transport him to a holding facility to spend years going through a trial.
bin laden is like zod :
because his trate with bush :]
I would rather not have a grave site in the US that ends up being a "shrine" to his followers, perhaps even a spot of attack (or grave-robbing). As no friendly country really wanted his body, it made sense to do it at sea. As to however the actual "burial" went, I do not know. Certainly they wouldn't report that they simply catapulted his body into the ocean, as this would only inflame his followers further. The important point is that this particular infamous terrorist is now gone from the planet, and we must set our focus toward thwarting any future threat(s).
in my opinion, better have him thrown to the sea then buried anywhere else. just because his victims didnt get a chance f a proper burial doesn't mean we should do the same. America is better than those bastards, and we have to prove that to them.
and pamela, sticking his head on a pike isnt family friendly :P

simple, we will continue to support the pakistani government in any way they need. It's not in Americas best interest to punish pakistan or leave them to their own devices. There are few differences between pakistand and afghanistan but 1 of those differences is huge. Pakistan has a nuke. If the U.S. doesn't aid pakistan then there's a good chance al qaida will aid pakistan and in the end get their hands on a nuke.

anything is possible but most likely the buriel went down exactly as it was reported. Keep in mind that we have many muslims serving in our military and desecrating a muslim body without respect to the religion is slap in our own faces, as well as a war crime.
pakistan would keep the nuclear weapons away from the al quida. if only to keep themselves from being turned to glass.

very easy to keep al qaida away from the nuke when the U.S. is providing material support to the government and military. Keep in mind that the taliban was a creation of pakistan to combat the indian intrusion into their country. Dont be so sure that the Pakistani government could, or would, keep their nukes safe.
Math you are a grade "A" nimrod. Your understanding of Pakistan or any politics of note would fit in a thimble. Please refrain from expounding on subjects you know nothing about. My reference to being buried in the States was pure sarcasm and I am shocked that even Tap did not pick up on that.If he was buried here I would leave the country.I rather relished Taps idea of him getting kicked overboard, you made my Day hun! I reped ya for that one! Mike....dude....get some mean to you....just a little anyway! Sheesh!
Darkopia I am liking you more and more each time you post. Keep arguing with Math, this means I wont be tempted to......
