It seems Diablo 3 is indeed a successful game, and we're seeing the Real Money Auction House play out on the servers. Thus, I'm sure many users probably want to make the most of their marketing techniques to eventually try and make a profit out of this game.

We have been seeing a couple of users post threads for selling Diablo 3 gold (most seem to be from the same source). While it is great to see such eager participants wanting to make a profit, unfortunately we cannot condone a user making an account and immediately posting here in this section with the intention to only post a thread to try and sell D3 gold.

It does not appear to be professional to start and finish your posting history on the forum with a solitary advertisement such as this, and forum actions, such as removal of the post and a possible forum ban may be initiated if you choose to advertise in such a fashion.

Of course, that doesn't mean we are banning the potential for you to advertise such a thread on the forum. However, you will want to adjust the way in which you do it. After signing up, try heading over to the Introduction forum and post an introduction thread for yourself. Get to know the community. We have some great members of the forum, long-time and newer members. Discuss pretty much whatever you want to discuss, and get a feel for the community.

As long as it's not illegal/scamming/etc, we may allow you to post your advertisement, once you are a bit more active within our community.

Basically, we just don't want to see a 1-post wonder copy/pasting whatever kind of text they had prepared for multiple forums once they hit that "Post New Thread" button. Meet your possible clientele before shoving a flyer in our windshield, please.
