    Default Spyware removal is BAD???

I might be late on this, but here goes.

Who woulda thought having all those anti-spyware and adware-removing programs would actually do worse damage??? My mom's computer was runnin slower than her 386 back in the early 90's, and right now, thats sayin something!

In an attempt to remove all the virus/spy/adware crap, I got the usual lineup of stuff: AdAware, Spybot S&D, and a few others. But all those things working at once were conflicting so badly. Like I said, who woulda thought? Nobody ever told me that they would, I thought it was Anti-Virus programs only that conflicted.

So the morale of this story is: Get a good firewall/anti-virus and stick with it, nothing more, nothing less.

Have fun and STOP DOWNLOADING ****!!

I run 2 antivirus programs 2 spyware programs and 2 firewalls (not all at the same time) and i have never had any trouble, which leads me to belive problems people have are user errors of some kind not conflicting programs

Well my mom uninstalled them ALL and things are working A-Ok now. Maybe they were conflicting with the Zone Alarm, who knows.
