Whats a Hack Wave???

Did ne1 else hear the msg about a hack wave or somthing to wipe out all chars and make them drop all items?

it said the hacker that made it was zircolista or somthing like that.

it was sent from b.net

it was a program, & i believe it was in 1.09, but i havent heard that hack in 1.10...

what it does is, some1's gonna tell u that theres a new dupe hack from xxxxx site... & if ur a greedy a** player of d2, of course u would want it... then once u download it, & open ur d2, ur gonna loose control on ur char & then ur cursor will start wiggling & start dropping ur items... basically same aspect as mf bots... ur char has its own AI....

& ow yeah i read something bout this hack from this forum.... a guy from diabloii.net post something,like hes warning that u shouldnt open any site from some1 in the game while ur playin d2... he said once u minimize d2 & open that site (probably a **** site.. lol) he will be able to open ur account, then once u go back to d2, u wil be disconnected.. then wont be able to open that account forever... i believe this is something like spyware...

a LONG time ago, just when they released D2 b.net had no protection of any kind. Then happened somthing like that. Realm down, then log in- all chars are gone
