my fav game of al time has to be ummm halo or cs cant make up my mind they got boreing after a while tho personaly d2 isent that great (i still play it tho) it dosent need that much skill just alot of free time

Since it's back I'll but my contribution...
Morrowind (despite lack of multiplayer), FF7 (what couldn't tell for my Sephiorth obsession?), Halo, Star Wars: KOTOR, Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and pretty much anything with a map editor (NWN, WC3, SC, etc...)

I liked TS cause it was harder and I had alot of fun blowing away my friends with the ion cannon...but Red Alert was fun too...I just didn't have as much fun with it

i liked the nuke better in red alert than the ion cannon, it seemed like their was fewer units and they and the buildings just kinda sucked more
