Ok making my barb..got him close to using the gear i have got for him..But i am wondering about my str and dex..I am making SS barb..got ebotdcb for him..etc. Now i have all my points to put in..Do i A: go pure vita..Get str from torch..etc. Or B: Put enough str for gear, enough dex for max block and the rest into vita? Im trying to str8 pvp..any help would be great Thanks.

Depends on how 1337 you are.

To make an "ideal" build you want to get as many points for your str reqs from annis and torch and such as possible, imo.

There are 4 reasons I can think of why people add more str than they need.

(1) They are poor and don't have/know what gear they will end up with so they can't plan.

(2) They know what gear they are gonna end up with but are too lazy to plan.

(3) They just don't care about the extra 3-400 life they will have after BO, etc if they plan carefully.

(4) They lack the patience to lvl more slowly by leeching off other people's Baal runs while they achieve the lvls necesary to use the anni/torch charms to save those str points.

Reason (1) isn't so bad if you are just starting out, but in that case, make yourself a sorc to MF with.

Long story short. Do the math, it will take you a little longer today, but it will save you remaking the char l8r.

torch, anni, and +strenght items (such as rare duped boots) should be enough to have almost no strenght put in your barb. you do need 75% block with shouldn't be too much for an SS barb. Rest into life, u know the rest
