A Barb For Ubers...

I want a barb to do ubers, is there such thing? If so give me a short guide on how to make one.

I would almost think the only barb that could do something could possible be the conc barb with his high defense and hopefully high resists; while he would not be able to do that much damage he could possible act as a tank while others who may have more powerful attacks but less defense could attack simultaneously.

im guessin` a wirlwind barb with a life tap wand alot of ias and attack rating
that has alot of crushing blow heh thats alot of alot
i think this mite work becuase if you hit them enough it might be like a smiter hitting a monster cuz with wirlwind u attack alot in the whirl and with anough ar you should be able to leech sum life back and in the end kill them with ur curshing blow
dunno if this will work though buht yeah worth a shot

I believe that a frenzy+berseker barb with a necro that uses curses can do it.

barbs r pretty much tanks duriing ubers nothing else

idk when me and my friends do ubers my ww barb pretty much just take hits while the smiters go work on the bosses

Hm.. I want a character that can do many things that can do ubers too, smiter can only PvP and uber and it costs A LOT of sojs, anyone know a char that can pvp, pvm and uber?

barb with LWz+ebotdz, gores, fort, pheonix, cham arreats, angelicsrings/ammy, verdungos, dracs, and a lifetap wand+wc spear on switch. with decent AR it can take out ubers, but not as quickly as a smiter could obviously, mainly using WW and lvl 1 conc.

I run torches all the time with my conc barb. They have nuts life and aren't bothered by all of those annoying minions because of un-interuptable attack. I usually run it with my bro who uses a smiter. To date, I've gotten 7 torches with this barb at lvl 91. I maxed sword, conc, bo, and shout, with a bit in bash and ww, one pointers in passive stuff and berserk for syergy with conc. Here's my gear:

Helm: 120/45 diadem (Up'd Arreats works fine though)
Armor: Sup AP Fort
Wep: eBOTDCb (2x war cry weps for switch)
Shield: Phoenix (Dream is fun too)
Belt: Tgods
Rings: Ravens
Gloves: Blood Fists
Boots: Goblins
Amy: Highlords

My BOTD is low so I do about 8.5k conc. You could use dracs instead of fists, but they give me the breakpoint in fhr and ias that I wanted. Basically, conc lets you get in a lot of crushing blows and the ubers just go down. If there is no lag, I don't even pot while ubering. IMO izzy is harder than trist just because those knights always IM me at the wrong time. Only bother with ww if you need to move through some minions.

u run it with a smiter.. HOW would u have problems. do u have some source of lifetap as well?

Well, I do keep dracs in stash if I want tap. In trist, the worst monster is lag. Any well built physical damage char can kill the ubers, but most can take the lagged hits. My barb can. Are smiters good? Yes. Are the borrrrrring as shihatigjhiiahtih? Yes.

Look, all I'm saying is that a barb helps fight lag and offers bo and uniteruptable hits on the ubers. If the smiter is laged or doesn't name lock an uber because of a pile of minions they are screwed - end of story. Smiters can't ww or jump where they want to go (I guess they could wear a tele amy) and get punked by 50 minions all wanting to take a turn. Now, does a smiter do more to the ubers when name locked than my barb? Yes.

my smiter could fight all the minions all day if he wanted to. he rapes the minions ez and quick. so if he gets surrounded he has no problem fighting through them to the ubers.

this is also not a problem for my smiter....by the time i get to the last of the 3 ubers, my screen is practically filled with minions. i either run around them to get to the uber or cut a path through. either way, theres still like 50 attacking me while i am killing the uber himself and its no problem

IMO either a Bash//Stun barb because the stats are similar to smite ...
