Bowazons suck unless you are very very rich. You need all perfect/hard to get gear.

Exactly. Unless you are being funded by an affluent player, I would try a different dueler first.

Well if you just started. How are you going to get gear for bowazon? Play UsWest with me please. Already have a great Hdin botting, and a geared up smiter baaling in hell right now.
I just came back from my grandma's birthday dinner at some restaurant. And was talking to my brother about Wow. Hes 12 and playing with a bunch of friends we have to stay after school with to wait for my mom. I have been deciding if I should quit Diablo and play it. The game play of Wow isn't very revolutionary to me. I have played many games like that. I think what draws so many people is the gameplay is so new to them. Something they have never seen before. So what persuade you to quit? Were you playing with people?

oh, what class do you suggest for a hardcore pvper?
I'd be paladin if it's really worth it, however I feel as though there are a TON already, correct me if I'm wrong.

@kurups:
Why Diablo? Jesus, after starting WoW, I will never ever go back to Diablo.
@KazeCloud:
WoW is definately a step up from Diablo 2 in pretty much every single aspect. Most of the shit that you saw being wrong in Diablo have been fixed in WoW (like not having to create a new character every time you want to change some skills). However, WoW is a lot more social game and emphasis has been taken off solo play, most of endgame is instances (5man parties) and raids (10man and 25man). However, groups are easy to find and make. If you start playing, I'd recommend you to start on a high / full population server, I used to play on low pop and it seriously sucked. Also, PvP is way more fun and rewarding than it was in Diablo.
As in which character to play, it's entirely up to you (I play druid of course). Unlike in Diablo, every character and spec has their use and viability in endgame. Skill trees from Diablo are talent trees in WoW, for example, Warrior has 3 trees, Arms (PvP), Fury (PvE damage), Protection (Tanking).
Whatever you do, do not roll female human mage (since all the noobs seem to roll just that for some reason). I'd recommend a Shaman, you cannot go wrong with those. If I hadn't made a Druid, I wish I had made a Shaman.

Oh thanks Frater. But my little brother plays with the people I stay with until my mom picks me up after school all plays horde. They say horde is better. I don't want to play horde even if it is. How can I convince them their skills are not as good. Or is it just true. Horde > Alliance...

Nothing is "better" it all depends on how you build your character. But I do have to say, rouges are pretty over-powered, even though I love them. But anyway, either one is fine. Nothing is better.

Really? I mean they are really bitching about how the racial skills of Horde is way better. And they also say the Hunter is more over powered than any other characters. Maybe they are just noobs?

They are just noobs.
1) Hunters suck. Yes, Hunters do need a serious buff.
2) Rogues are gimped if anything else. Rogues are good for owning badly geared people, but when they face people with equal or better gear, they are pretty gimped.
Just play what you want to play. Preference of racials is up to who you're going to roll. For example, Tauren have imba racials (War Stomp is awesome, 5% extra health), yet Night Elves are also good for Druids since the extra stealth bonus pretty much means that you will always get the opener in a stealth duel. I play Alliance by the way. In the end, it does not really matter what race you rolled, unless you ****ed it up really badly, like making a Troll Warrior.

Played wow for like 3 1/2 - 4 years. I'm sick as hell of it.

A: Hunters are amazing for raid DPS.
B: On my rogue the only class i'd lose to every time is an elemental shaman.
C: Troll warriors are the best furry DPS warrior class in the game.
Everything has its positive points. Blizzard isn't retarded.

Everything has its positive points. Blizzard isn't retarded. A: Wrong. Best raid dps is Rogues, Warlocks, Mages and Warriors in exactly that order, also depending on whether it's a melee or a ranged fight. There is no denying the fact that Rogues have the single highest uncontested raid damage output in the entire game. In fact, Rogues in Black Temple gear do up to 30% more dps than other classes. Hence the upcoming hase nerf. In endgame raiding, Hunters don't really have a real use besides Misdirection pulling and picking up their token loot.
My brother plays a rogue. He doesn't even raid a lot, his gear is far from great, yet on Void Reaver, when blowing all cooldowns he managed to reach 1400 DPS. A Black Temple geared Rogue can hit up to 1800 DPS, way more than an equally geared Warlock and Mage, and masses more than a puny Huntard.
B: Armory link please.
C: Valid point.

KazeCloud Wrote:What about for instances? I heard thats how you Mf. Lol. Thanks Frater. I always take any of your infos as facts. Basically, if you want to become a "hardcore" player then do not roll a character for "doing instances". They are all piss easy once you learn to play and you will not spend a lot of time in them. The actual gear comes from raids. All characters can raid, some are more viable than others (the reason why hunters suck, they take up a dps slot in a raid but they don't have the dps capability of other classes).
Just roll a class that seems appealing to you. I played a few characters to 10+ to get a little bit of a feel to them (although the game just changes completely once you hit 70), to see what I'd like and what I wouldn't. I'm glad that I picked the druid class after having tried Warlock and Mage alts, I would probably have quit or rerolled by now had I stuck to those.
edit: also bear in mind that unlike Diablo, Blizzard is constantly working on WoW, so your class could be the target of the next nerf / buff bat. I remember when Mangle damage was reduced by 45%. Jesus ****ing christ, a lot of Druids stopped playing that day. That is of course a drastic change, which are very infrequent, but little tweaks and balances come through every patch.
I.e. next patch all CC abilities against PvP targets are nerfed to 10 seconds /cheer
Not that you would understand what I mean, but you'll get the hang of it once you start playing.
