I'm quite sure this thread has been made before - or something like it, but it's been a while I'm sure. Post your Armory - I'm quite curious as to how well 'seasoned' our D2S members are.

Your link doesn't work.
Here's mine:
The World of Warcraft Armory
I quit sometime in November last year, but just started playing again last week so still have to catch up with loads of gear. Oh and we downed Sharaz last night \o/

edit: says that your char is inactive, hence armory doesn't load it.

As my armory suggests, I am resto. This is my main spec, I raid as resto and do arena as resto.

I also have pretty decent feral gear (good enough to tank in Black Temple) but I don't really like tanking in raids, it's a bore.

I also have full gear for balance spec, something close to +1000 spelldmg, but I've never even specced Balance, maybe I'll try it out some day.

Nice rogue, but isn't your hit too low?
Also, why that dire back? You should craft Vengeance Wrap or run Kara again until you get Aran's back.
Oh and generally, I think that your socketing is very strange.

Thottbot World of Warcraft: Shadowmoon Destroyer's Drape is mine next time it drops. The socketing is done beacuse i'm too cheap to pay for my own +8 hit gems, and the guild wont give me +10 hitters for anything but t6 so i'll take what i can get without spending money - although even with my current hit I'm out DPSing everyone in my raid but one other rogue (koios look em up if you want) who's sitting at 303 hit. My hit's like what 250 with my mantle of darkness on so it's not like it's terrible. Also my offhand will be blade of savagery whenever it drops....

Also with the sockets it's not as 'strange' as you'd think - having a good variation of stats is honestly a lot smarter than dumping them all into one. I've done a lot of testing with it and I honestly wouldn't recommend sacrificing all stats for just dumping into +hit - which a large majority of rogues do. Through my testing that I mentioned earlier I found out that my DPS decreased substantially even though I had way more hit.

The thing is - a good variation is not needed.
Each stat can be given a variable of value, in terms of which DPS increase can accurately be calculated. Combat rogues benefit the most from:
1) +hit
2) +AGI
Socketing for +AP (UNLESS you get gems with very high AP, like the honour ones) or +crit rating is a waste of a socket. Actually, your hit is fine in case you have a Moonkin in your raid and you eat +hit food, but guessing that since you cannot be arsed to gem your gear yourself, you probably are not taking food buffs either.
The only thing that +crit rating is good for is for PvP, and en masse, you just need to socket everything with +crit. Currently, the gem in your legs, for example, is a waste.

Oh and your spec is also not ideal. You should really have 20/41/0, meaning take one out of Improved Kick, take those 3 out of Improved Poisons and put those 4 points into Vile Poisons, that is the ideal PvE DPS spec.

It's not difficult being top DPS with a rogue when you have the gear, but you could always be a lot better, that's why I'm making those suggestions, that's all.

I would never give up improved kick, come on now it's far too good for PVP, which is also why I have the crit. Because I put out good DPS and can still PVP when I want to, where hit is near useless. I like a good variation - in fact there's a HUGE post on the rogue forums with calculations proving that variation >= pure +hit ap. I'll try to find it.
