Some strategies please
#1
Hey guys. I've just started playing WC3 Frozen Throne again, choosing the Human race. Its probably the hardest race to use from what I heard. And it is. I need to know some key elements I need to use them effectively. Currently I'm at Human Vs. Undead single player normal, and I can't beat them. blank:

The only new thing I've learned is Footmen and defend. What am I suppose to do? I mass some Footmen, throw in a priest or two, and use a Paladin because I've heard their good for Undeads, and I can't kill off their cheap Ghouls for crap. confused: Thanks.

I want to be Nightelf now since Human is so hard. But I really don't want to betray Human.

Heh, you just suck dude!
Stick to Humans and finish the campaign, Warcraft III has an amazing storyline. You will have to keep on playing for quite a while before you can start the Night Elf campaign.

I don't see how you can be struggling really, but units in Warcraft have quite a high value, so don't waste them, which involves a lot of micoring. Simple idea is that don't use units that are low on health for combat, keep them in base for defense and let them regenerate. When in combat, micro your units around, i.e. if one of your units is low on health, move him out of enemy range so that enemy will switch target, then move back in and start attacking again. This is the most important skill in Warcraft III.

Thanks Frater. I understand those concepts. I would like some micro tips on footmen Vs a big hoard of mostly Ghouls, their summons skeleton things, and Crypt Fiends. How do I get them to attack without them only ganging up on one? X_X Do I click near them? If I click into and area, the footmen doesn't attack until they all get there. Do I use patrol?

And I'm playing Frozen Throne. I start off on Elf Campaign. I'm currently slowly getting pass the levels.
