so i have made a sorc for botting and its chickening nearly all runs it takes. now i know that it still runs into lit immunes but the merc is pretty well set and should be able to handle this. i have been watching and it seems to spam pots because its running out of mana and life very fast. and i dont really know what is going on. this thing should be cookin as far as speed goes.i want to only really have this sorc run nilathek, summoner and countess but i can't seem to get her to do anything right. i really need some help from you guys and this is what i have done.
Gear:
Griff
lidless
wizzy
dusk fort
aracks
mage fist
waterwalks
soj x2
mara
torch and anni plus 3 lit gcs
Merc: fort, infinity and dream (all high end)
now i know its lacking some fhr but i really dont think thats why i having such a catastrophic falure
Skills:
max chain
max light
max light mast
remaining in charged
then one in necessary skills like:
tele, mana shield, t storm (just because its only 1 point) and warmth
i figure frozen armor (or what ever that skill is that you sorc guys used is called) would be unnecessary because of fort
my attack commands:

Try this, also my meteorb was having problems chickening and all that, actually the only places she will chicken is nithalak, sewers a3, Baal, and chaos. Anyways I swapped one of my soj's for natures peace (monsters rest in peace mod) = no CE from nithalak, and it halved the chickening. Good luck, tell me how my advice helped out.[COLOR="Silver"]

[/COLOR]And unless I'm running for keys my sorc runs pindle, eldritch, thresh, meph, ancient tunnels, maggot lair, Andy, countess, mausoleum, and pit, flawlessly. She can't do chaos or baal to easy so I don't run all that.

ok so i have picked up a coh to try out but i will need to increase my str so i will probably be reseting my stats soon to put it on. also i have a few occy so i will throw one of those on too. since im adding str i may as well get a spirit shield too. hopefully that will make a impact on my chickens too. i have a nature peace somewhere ill find that and try it out too.

My sorc is meteorb not lightning, remember that. I'm only suggesting the natures peace. My sorc ran over 100 runs today of those places, no chickens.

well i havnt put a peace ring on just yet but it seems to be doing much better. i changed the fort to coh, wizzy to occy, 1 soj to dwarf star, lidless to spirit and the mercs dream to andys. now im going to need a fire resist charm because im a little shy but it doesnt seem to be causing too many problems. i just left to go do something and came back to see it had done 18 runs and chickened 3 times, which is a huge difference already. only bad thing is i had it doing baal, nilathek, summoner and countess but going too fast and i got a temp ban. so in all lookn alot better. this really is my first sorc so i was struggling with it (and i still am a little) but the gear you put up definitely has helped. i hadnt really planned on using this sorc for a mf stacked runner, the only real goal is rune finding so im ganna add pit and chaos but i need to bring my fire res up a little more before i can run chaos.
ill have to wait until tomorrow afternoon before i can look at it anymore but you have been very helpful. thanks

No problem. Ive never really messed with scripting before but all of it is very easy to understand, I haven't tried writing my own lines yet I want to learn a little more first. This bot has actually gotten me interested more in pursuing my dream of being a programmer again one day.[COLOR="Silver"]

[/COLOR]So what gear are u running now anyway? Cuz I know as a light sorc your still going to need light facets and some of the other items that are crucial to a light sorc, just keep that in mind. things such as facets of course, griff eye, the lightning orb, Idk I made a light sorc years ago and started up again about a month ago, so I dont remember too much.

fort shouldnt be used on a sorceress.
also, CTA really helps, along with Spirit.

this is my mf sorc, and she rarely chickens.
I also switch her over to max res, with a G Angel and a um'd Kiras instead of CoH and Griffs, respectively.

You sorta... aren't built for survivability. I did the same thing back when I played (for awhile), some people are against it but trading your spirit/lidless for something like a stormshield (high str reqs I know, I'd try it with an enigma and strength charms before you revamp your entire character) and getting your block up can always help your survivability. Also get your resists up if they are not maxed already, and don't forget to do the quests for extra resists. Resist charms are a good option. Back in the day I actually stopped using a MF stacked sorce for botting and went all out damage/survivability just because of the same problem your having--- and I still found great drops.
And fortitude is mostly used for the 300% ED, so do not use it on a caster.
A shako+SS+COH will give you max dr with good resist bonus. Unfortunately you have to devote alot of dex to get your block up, I wouldn't go for 75% but any bit helps.
Also energy shield can totally screw you over, try with it and without it. If your really set on using it you could try a set of frostburns over those magefists, they add alot of mana.
Also may I ask why the waterwalks? The dex bonus for wiz spike usage? I always perfered silkweaves. But this is a very minor part of the gear really.
