Heeheh there are many scams out there to truly be a anti-scammer u gotta try it urself nowadays ppl are really dum and fall for nething.But the way u got hacked its new i mean ive heard of it but wow thats a hella work jsut to get some d2 acc. my guess is (not a fact) u opened something that contained a trojan or a lil worm he could have activated it and recovered ur pass some new worms trojans or viruses norton cant really detect i have to update mine everyday and i still find worms and other junk use ne method to clean ur comp up thats wat i do and i never got hacked or scammed.

I do use d2loader. But I havent downloaded anything like what you described. But what you are saying does make sence. I'm tearing through my registery at the moment, I totaly removed d2 and have reinstalled it but I'm guessing if there is somthing its probably still on this damn laptop.

Okay, after sitting through a format, xp pro reinstall, drivers install, tweaking and configing XP all over again, loading DirectX and now loading D2 I have came to one conclusion. Whoever made this little hack is nothing more than an unskilled noob. Go ahead, steal my stuff. I can PROMISE you hands down if I meet you in a PK room, your toast. You know why? A player that has to steel his/her shit has no skills. They don't take the time to build the character. They don't understand that its not just Items that make the player. Its skills and how they are set. It goes to show that if you have to rip off some one you don't have what it takes to play. You need to go back to Mario Cart and leave the rest of us alone.

Bots, whatever, use em, you almost have to, hell someone is going to steal your crap anyway so you might as well. Map hacks....espically for players that are in hell a map hack comes in handy big time. Duping, yes it exists, if it didn't there would be no need for rust storms. But you know, for most of the dupes, you need to have the Item. But you know what, you still have to level your character and put stats in the correct places. That takes experience, time and know how.

I think the thing thats pissing me off the most is why? I've put in weeks if not months perfecting my characters and some noob scriptkiddy modifys some worm to send him accounts, steals and removes all your hard work. Thats lame. Very lame. You may think your L33T, your not, your just lame. You have no skills and you will always be at the bottom of the killcount in any duel game.

BTW I want to make clear that I'm not ripping on ANYONE here, unless you are the idiot that is doing all this crap. So please don't take it personally. You just have to understand that I've been working on these characters since the ladder reset. Its what I do after school, after work and on the weekends. Diablo is my hobby. It would be like if I was building a high detail model and you came up and crushed it, than began kicking it around the room. All the mean while I can't kick your *** because I can't get to you.

As far as I can tell it was a trojan or something. Or a friend figured out your pass. I always check to see if someone is screwing around by going to the channel and it says failed login attempts and if its higher then 2 or 3 I change my pass(the other 2 could have been the friends I know in person). I also only give my pass to my good friends and my bro. However my friend got hacked 5 times. The first time if was our clan leader, in response we stole his email and his account, and said it was my friend who already got hacked so none of us got hacked either. But the last 3 times it was one of our friends. My first semi-good item was a baba and it was personalized, and I lent it to my friend and he got hacked. My other friend, CJ had it later on and got it from Phil, and when we went on his account we found all of Kyles(the guy who got hacked) mf gear and such. So only give your pass to someone you know you can trust. CJ also hacked my friend Matty once, but he was retarded when he did it. You see, he joined the game Killer, went offline, Matty went online, joined the game Killer, wouldnt answer us, I phoned Matty, he said it wasn't him, he went offline, CJ came online, joined the game Killer, I went onto Mattys account and everything good was gone. He didn't even know his password for sure, but bought an account off him before with the same pass. SO watchout if you sell and account make the pass 123 or something.

I'd like to make my first post right here and now. Hackers are gay. They hardly even play the game. People work hard for their accounts and the stuff on them just to get it all stolen from someone's little pansy *** trojan? Damn it, hackers only exist so they can 'pWn' you or so they can be called 'l33t'. Its just a game, a fun game with that, so if anyone who reads this is a hacker, you are NOT cool or l33t or whatever you want to be called to be acknowledged.
