lol. A new char would be awsome. but with a new char comes more updates...with more updates...blizzard makes the game worse for people who like the way it is. One problem I do have with the game is that I get realm down and when I do im down for 6-12 hours. It gets kinda annoying but oh what the hell. :-)

just bypass it with the ip change thing.. that is what i do.. makes realm downs not as much of a nuisance.

d2 will go on forever.....its too good of a game, so addicting and its awesome. the only possible games better would be halo 2 or d3...

lol halo wont last that long also people who play d2 will probly decrease untill only like 20 people playing it like diablo 1 the only thing that will keep everyone into it is a new patch, expasion set or somthing worthwile althought .10 patch was good it got old fast
watch all of the sudden there will be one day were blizz says "Diablo 2 play on battle.net will end at (time)"

Ok I tried that but there is something wrong with my command prompt and I don't know how to fix it. I've never really used Command Prompt so I don't have any experience with it. the error message says
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitbale for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
Anybody have anything to fix that?

blizz will probly close d2 on battle.net before people are done playing its the way most things are and it will probly be closed even faster if d3 comes out

Lol yeah the bots....I tell ya, if next ladder rolls around imma go out buy 5 more copies of D2 for the keys and have 7 bots running all the time.....we'll see who gets rich mwahahahaha!!!! Seriously, some people do that...isnt it sad?

thats insane!! i guess u would get really rich really damn fast, but daaamn! i dunno about u guys but after paying for the game itself....thats all i pay for, i wouldnt pay for online gameplay if it was required, id just make do offline....i wouldnt pay for that many more copys of d2 to get rich (insanely rich, but still!) really quik.
now mayb goin into wally world or another place with d2 in it, opening the box and takin a peek at the cd key and memorizing it quickly. now thats sumthing easily done that id think of doing but not buying them! lol. if u gonna cheat....may as well do it right :devilish:

ip config worked for me .. i have a cable internet running straight to my computer.. maybe if you are behind a router you using another source it won't work.. i have been using this for a few months now and i haven't had to wait over a minute from a realm down.

there is trouble with D2 but i feel people will play it until there is nothing left...but then again i might be stoned not really sure at present time...

well botting dose ruin it, i botted for like 1 month and i got bored of d2 realy fast
Since you can have 8 char's on a single b.net account, why not add another character, and another act, where you must kill that reizarfg monster. (yes, I know it was just a joke bt Geoff Frazier) That would be cool
