ice or fire duel sorc

hi everyone,

I want to make a dueling sorc, and was wondering what elemental type would be better. Would a fire or ice sord be better for dueling and why?

Maxed out I would do Blizzard or Orb..

shitty gear fire does uber damage

caster vs caster orber own all, but u have good aim with blizz do it cuz its better vs melee and still good in CvsC

Fire IMO, Orb is way too slow to hit casters with.

I agree with Jerzilla. It is really hard to duel with Orb sorcs.

i would say go with a cold blizzard sorc they own
or go with a fire ball sorc

if u have enough fcr then orb will own, also orb has huge radius. dueling with orber is all about tele-ing, u cast and tele then cast again, makes u hard to hit while u attack--cept with FoHers cuz its auto aimed so tele dont matter just cast

ok ur an orb sorc. u tele over to the person who is a fireball sorc. just as ur about to fire ur orb u get hit with a fireball. your dead. your an orb sorc, your dueling a blizz sorc, u try to cast orb then die immediatly because of blizzard. orbers suck. period

Fire isn't bad for Boss Killing... Andy / Meph / Pindle / Shenk / Eldritch

Eldritch yeah, since he is usually Immune to fire/ice. In my opinion, both are good duelers. All that really matters about your sorc build is how YOU will use your sorc. If you prefer hit and run with not much aiming, go orb. If you wanted to townguard/ fight melees mainly, blizzard or meteor. If you want to run around shooting everything in your path quickly like a chipmunk on crack, fireball.

Orb is also bad for duelling, since FCR does not increase its effectiveness by much, since it is a TIMED SPELL.

Orb sorcs are horrible nowadays as pk......there is too much of a delay now when casting orb, and it doenst do as much dmg as it did in .09

Just used zonfire's hero editor and maxed all skills to 99... Orb does around 4k while other skills did over 20k.
