multiplayer questions

my friend has a guy on multiplayer that i want, is i possible for him to copy n paste his multiplayer character and put it n a file n give to me and let me use on my multiplayer? would that work? we both use ladder us-east

okay when you open d2 it says single player, then it says battle.net, then it says other multiplayer...if you're clickin on the battle.net, then you're connecting via closed b.net, and you can't copy and paste anything that's on there. if you';re clickin on 1player then you can copy and paste whatever, and if you're clicking on other multiplayer, then you're using open battle.net and you can copy stuff. hope that helps.

just for some extra info u cant copy and paste ur closed bnet players b/c they r saved on the bnet servers and wether or not u have them doesnt matter | u can copy and paste open bnet players b/c they r saved on ur pc and open bnet accesses them from ur pc when u play on open

You can save closed realm characters to your pc which then can be shared to play by other peeps on open/tcp ip and single player.It's just a D2hackit plugin called .saveplayer but you can't make a copy of it for use on closed.
